Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stumbled across the little town of Northcliffe in SW WA and this great info centre and Art & Nature trail - utterly entrancing. Don’t miss it.

Under rated but excellent experience. Loved the tranquility and thought provoking art along the trail. We would highly recommend it if you are in the area

A great walk with truly interesting and unique art in the forest and trees. Worth a stop and the $15 , a lot of ideas I’ve never seen.

We were recommended to stop here to do the Art trail so we did. There is not much in this town, not even a coffee shop but anyway we stopped and went into visitor centre and I think it cost us about $15.00 each (quite expensive) and there were apparently 40 or so art sights to see. It was weird art and I don't think it was worth the $15.00 fee but I suppose it goes to maintaining the track.

This was an unexpected thrill to be able to experience Art in Nature. It is a true Hidden gem. Northcliffe is a very small town and didn’t have a cafe etc open when we there on a Tuesday. We are experienced road trippers so the car fridge was stocked.
This 1.2 km trail is behind the Visitor Centre and is $10 or $8 concession to enter.
The welcome by a wonderful lass into what was a small library was very comfortable and congenial.
All the reviews below I can verify as correct. More installations are being added. The trees, bush, shrubs, flowers all play a part in the experience.
The finding of the hidden faces in the partly burnt but living trees make it a great experience for children.
Congratulations to the volunteers keeping this place a great place to walk. Thanks to the imaginative artists. A great plus for Northcliffe.

An absolute hidden gem, the Understory Art & Nature Trail, is a must-see for anyone travelling in the southern part of WA. Part of Northcliffe's visitor centre the 1.2km trail not only gives you a glimpse of the artwork, but also the karri and Tingle forest

This was a great way to spend an hour or so wandering through some beautiful forest discovering unusual and enigmatic art.
The sculptures all look like they almost could have grown out of the landscape. The imagination and skill are wonderful.
One of the joys is discovering some of the quirkier pieces hidden in the foliage.
Kudos to the small country town of Northcliffe for having the vision and imagination to set this up.
Access is through the Tourist Info Centre. It's wise to check online to be sure it's open.

This type of art is not our normal pursuit but still enjoyed the experience and skills exhibited in the displays. Walk through concept works well for the viewings and it was an interesting sight variation from the better known nearby attractions.
