Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The RSL Military Museum is housed within the same complex as the Visitor Centre. However one part was accessible only via the Visitor Centre and the other in an adjoining building. It was a good thing that we had walked around the section within the Visitor Centre as by 1.30pm, the Visitor Centre had closed.

There was a small but interesting array of war items. Information boards were also all presented beautifully with good information. However, they were way too high to be able to read the information comfortably.

A great initiative to remember those from Northampton who served Australia.

An excellent presentation of the military history of the Northampton district paying respect to the men and women of the district who lost their lives in the wars. The tourist information is now situated in the same building which means the display is more readily accessible throughout the week. The air con in the building makes it additionally attractive to while away a few hours. Great display.

The War Memorial dates to 1934 and the hall, now a museum, to 1956. The obelisk is mounted on a stepped surround and has a plaque on each of the four faces. There is a small covered area housing an M242 105mm Howitzer and a Mark 5 Centurion Battle Tank. The museum showcases a variety of memorabilia, photographs, information panels, banners, etc.

This nice little site is a work in progress. The Anzac Gates date back to the 1930's & the Memorial Hall a little newer. The Centurion Tank on display served in the Vietnam War & the Artillery piece was the backbone of the army. A tastefully done obelisk lists the residents from this wheat & sheep belt region who served their country and is the location of Anzac Day & Remembrance Day services.
