The Visitor Centre is also the location of the Kodja Gallery which is very impressive indeed. The history of the area is well displayed with plenty of information which is succinct and not overwhelming. Lots to see from farming implements, Aboriginal tools and the old school bus! Highly recommended and worth the stop if you are passing through Kojonup

After an excellent coffee at Black Cockatoo cafe I had a wander around the rose garden/maze which has beautiful flowers but also records the story of 3 women: a local indigenous woman and an Italian and English migrants.

We bought some merchandise from the visitor centre. Most people would have just smiled and said "thank you". At this visitor centre, service was exceptional! The lady entertained my kids with a song (in aboriginal language?) and we were told we can have a discount if we can repeat that. =)
