Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Windy but the waters were calm and a sparkling blue with crowds either lazing on the white sandy beach or enjoying a swim in the rather cold water(tested by my wife). Some kiddies enjoying life on the water in a paddleboat. People fishing off the rocks or platform, apparently fishing from the beach is prohibited. Great facilities along the foreshore. It really is a special beach to enjoy.

A lovely beach very close to the carparks and toilets, which is always a bonus! You can fish and catch crabs right off the jetty, which makes it very family friendly. Most of the fish off the jetty are whiting, and we saw a few people in boats a little further out catching bigger fish.

Well protected area for the kids to play or try fishing. A must if you are here with kids. Take a short stroll to the point and look out over the mouth of the river.

In the corner towards the mouth of the river is the best place to swim. The carpark is close by and toilets and picnic facilities close by.
This is a free activity and can be enjoyed by all.

Right in the heart of Kalbarri lies this beach and is easy walking distance from town. Lots of great fishing, boating or take a swim in the pristine waters of our Wild West. Take a look at the RSL Monument while you are there and pay your respects to those that gave so we can enjoy.

On our first day in Kalbarri, after booking all our tours.. it was off to the beach to let my son have a run around. Very good facilities (showers, toilets, bbq's, sun shade) and the beach is very safe from the swell.

This is a top spot in a great holiday town. Chinaman's beach is a protected pristine beach behind Chinamans rock only metres from the open ocean but as calm as you like, safe for anyone. While sitting on the white sand you can watch the waves breaking on the reef which protects the river and this beach, and watch the crayfishing boats coming and going through the narrow channel between the reefs.
We have travelled around but this is one of the nicest spots you will ever see a laid back small seaside town. when we come here we come to this spot every day just to look at the ocean and river and watch the boats.
People are always fishing here but not interfering with swimmers, you can catch tailor and whiting and probably other fish as well.
Kalbarri has lots to recommend it but I am only reviewing the beach here.
