Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent the afternoon here. Beautiful clear water with small swells breaking at our feet. Calm enough to enjoy a swim without struggling with waves although it was great watching the waves breaking on the rock shelf out further.

Chinaman's Beach was pretty and quite undeveloped and a good place for a quiet swim and sun bathe. Attractive in a natural way.

We were here 30 years ago and remember it being more vibrant than what we saw now. A small stretch of beach....

We visited this beach on a daily basis during our stay in Kalbarri. Multiple places to swim, fish or just sit on the grass and watch the boats. Shallow water over sandbar is ideal for fishing. Easy access from various carparks and multiple toilet blocks too. Lots of fish and small crabs around in the sand and shallow waters. Boat hire nearby with kayaks, power boats and paddle boats. Definitely visit the markets here when they pop up aswell!

This is a beautiful swimming beach in Kalbarri. It's where the river meets the ocean so very calm. The colour of the water is stunning. There were cute little crabs running around that were fun to watch. The only thing that we didn't like was the amount of cigarette butts, fishing line and bottle tops along the beach.

This is a lovely spot to have a swim in Kalbarri. Most other beaches have too much rock formation and reefs in the water to be able to swim unheeded unless you are an avid snorkeller. There are quite a number of shelters and picnic type benches to sit at while not swimming to kick back and relax or watch the kids.

Windy but the waters were calm and a sparkling blue with crowds either lazing on the white sandy beach or enjoying a swim in the rather cold water(tested by my wife). Some kiddies enjoying life on the water in a paddleboat. People fishing off the rocks or platform, apparently fishing from the beach is prohibited. Great facilities along the foreshore. It really is a special beach to enjoy.

A river, a sheltered beach, stone formations, wild waves, all can be seen from any spot on the beachfront.

Great spot to go fishing where the young kids can run around and have fun when they’ve had enough of fishing but parents want to continue haha
