Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Worth the walk and climb to Pederick Lookout and then onto Red Bluff Lookout. Fantastic views from the high cliffs. Plenty of information to read on the interpretive signage. Strong winds on the day but helpful on the return trip to the carpark. Some nice flora in patches near the trail. We didn't do the walk to the beach, too windy and the bushflies too friendly

Beautiful spot only 5k out of Kalbarri. Great views along the coastal cliffs section of the national park and Kalbarri town and river mouth. Well worth the trip there and all the other lookouts to the south.

There are two separate sections to Kalbarri National Park. One is inland and centred around the Marchison River (definitely worth visiting, 5*), and this section is on the coastal cliffs, south of Kalbarri town.
In this coastal cliffs section, there are good views from various vantage points, and Red Bluff is just one of those places. It is well worth visiting, but don't miss all the other places in the same area - Mushroom Rocks, Rainbow Valley, Pot Alley, Eagle Gorge, Natural Bridge, Island Rock, Shellhouse and Grandstand.
There are short walks to some of the points, and longer walks to others, with loop walks being possible. There's even a much longer walk from a northern point to one in the south. It's all worth visiting - but don't miss the Murchison River area.

The is the best spot to get a view over Kalbarri town & surrounds. The beaches look magnificent, as do the cliffs. There is a newly built road into in and an easy walking track to access the main viewpoint

The sandstone cliffs are about 100m above the ocean. We saw whales only a few hundred metres off the coast and watched them spouting water and jumping for a long time. The cliffs are spectacular and you must visit this area when in Kalbarri. It's easy to walk and we pushed our Aunty in a wheelchair along most of the area.

A beautiful place anyway as other reviewers attest but we were particularly thrilled to see the humpback whales and calves making their way down to Antarctica. A good idea to take binoculars. What we originally thought was waves breaking over a reef, suddenly spouted and then dived with that graceful final flick of its tail. You have to be patient as they can stay down for 10 or 15 minutes before resurfacing a little further south. (Presumably in May they move north instead).
Unfortunately, while we were looking at the beautiful sandstone cliffs we were bitten by (presumably) sandflies. They seem to be very skilled at crawling under our clothes. Unlike mosquito bites, these bites can itch for a few weeks. Put insect repellent on before you get out of the car!
All of these bluffs are well worth the visit.

Walked up to the Red Bluff viewing platform from the beach. Nice short climb. Good views of the Kalbarri Coast from the top. Nice place to watch sunrise or sunset.
Should have taken a beer with me.

We came here to look at the fishing as it’s recommended on many websites, and it’s obviously a good spot as it was VERY popular.
So we just enjoyed the walk and sunset instead
The view is beautiful with the contrast between the ocean and red dirt of red bluff
Worth a trip to watch the sun set over a few drinks

Dogs are prohibited at Chinaman's point.
Red Bluff Beach, is a dog friendly beach although I am unsure of
the Red Bluff lookout. Your best bet would be to ask at the Visitor Information centre upon your arrival.
