About
We are located on the picturesque Murchison House Station, conducting guided quad bike safari tours into the Station and or the southern river escarpment in Kalbarri. These safari tours allow both novice and experienced riders the thrill of riding ATVs in the only guided bush quad bike tour in Western Australia. We have dual seat ATVs and cater for ages from 4 - 83 (so far) years young! Disability is often also not a barrier to enjoying these safaris.We have scheduled safaris available most days. Advanced bookings are essential.

I must say that I had a smile on my face for the majority of this experience.
It started with us all gathering together, in a shed, which was nice being out of the sun. We each were given a helmet, different sizes to chose from and clean. We were given a run down on the bikes, the track we would be going on and given an iced bottle of water each. We were given the opportunity to ask questions or state any concerns.
We rode down tracks, which were dusty, but fun. There were tracks that were gravel, soft sand and hard sand and rocky outcrops. We rode along the side of the river and further tracks. We stopped a few times to get information about where we were and where we would be going next. We had a photo opportunity in front of the river and even got to climb (on foot) to an amazing lookout point later on.
Our host was very informative and friendly.
The whole experience was about 2 1/2 hours. We were all dusty by the end, so make sure you wear things that you don't mind getting dirty. Probably long pants so you don't get sunburnt but shorts would be fine if you put on plenty of sunscreen. Sunglasses are a must too so the dust doesn't go into your eyes.
All in all I would recommend this quad bike tour and thank you again.

My friend and I came from Perth to Kalbarri for a few days, we decided on the day we would book this Safari Quad Tour and we were glad we did! This was the best tourist attraction we visited & experienced in Kalbarri! Ellen was very knowledgeable and funny. She made sure we were all comfortable throughout the trip ensuring we were safe and confident on the quad bikes.
We were given instructions/ direction any time needed.
We were given helmets and a frozen bottle of water for the quad tour. We got to a good speed on the quad bikes (optional).
My friend and I wore shorts, and it was a super hot day, so we recommend wearing plenty of suncream or long pants. Can get a little muddy so don't wear white clothes 😅.
Of course we would expect red dust when on the quad bikes given the location of the tour, might be a good idea to bring a face mask or bandana for across your face, and wear sunglasses to try prevent the dust/dirt from going into your eyes.

My Mrs & I took a quad bike each and went on the morning safari (8am) with Martin. Being safety conscious as he is, he did check with my Mrs (4ft9in tall) that she was okay to handle a bike on her own. Martin was very professional, gave my wife the choice - she wanted to have a bike to herself so went right ahead and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The course Martin took us on was fairly rugged and undulating. We criss-crossed sand, rocky outcrops, dried river beds and water crossings. Seeing plenty of kangaroos, great birdlife and a few goats! The whole experience was a lot of fun, Martin was very knowledgeable, had a few amusing stories and a good eye for a photo opportunity.
The bikes were well maintained, we had all neccesary safety equipment provided and cold water for hydration.
*Snowflake Warning - the area surrounding the Murchison River is dusty so luckily Martin had advised us to wear sunglasses please be aware asides from having fun, some adventure and witness some beautiful terrain you will also get dusty.

Came to Kalbarri and the quad biking was THE best part of our holiday 💕
Martin was so down to earth, made sure we stopped regularly and he took photos of us.
COVID and the cyclone has affected many businesses in Kalbarri, although running his business probably on empty he was cheerful, patient and did an awesome job being our guide. Will definitely be booking when we next visit. Thanks Martin 👍

thanks for your review. Still running on empty, but cranking out the tours. Rebuilding underway in Kalbarri, but we are hampered by desperately low staff numbers in all the businesses. Hanging tough though.

Our first (and probably only) time on quadbikes and well out of our comfort zone but it was an amazing two hours in the Murchison area. Martin is a fantastic guide, with a great sense of humour and went out of his way to make our ride so memorable. His knowledge and love of the area shone through and we saw some breathtaking scenery. There were regular stops with time to take photos, and have photos taken by Martin, with information about the area and how to tackle the next section of track. A different and exciting way to see this beautiful area. Definitely the most unforgettable day of our Western Australia holiday! We highly recommend going on a Kalbarri Quadbike safari.

We did the Quad bike adventure, enjoyed it so much we booked in again for a couple of days later. I spent the whole time smiling as we rode along, best experience ever. The second time we went a different way and enjoyed it even more, they were 2 very different rides, when we go back to Kalbarri this ride will always be part of our itinerary, its the best one in Kalbarri

Good for beginners. It was a welcoming and immersive experience, and a more fun and exciting way to view the beautiful scenery. Good value for money - it is cheaper to have 1 bike for 2 adults and you are allowed to switch over so you can both have a go riding. The locations were also varied, with different landscapes to see and different trails to ride on.

Bikes were easy to use, enough power for both one rider and/or two.Water provided. Tour terrain was varied and there were stops along the way to hear about the Murchison Station. In our 60’s and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We did the 5 hour tour. It was our first time on quadbikes & a great experience. Ellen our guide was knowledgeable & cared about our safety, also ensuring that we enjoyed the activity as well. We would certainly go back again. Had great views of the river & beach, photo opportunities.

First time on a quadbike and it was very easy. It's a great experience. The view is amazing! I just recommend that you wear a mask/glasses to prevent dust from getting into your eyes and don't forget sunscreen. The weather was perfect (not too hot or cold). I can't wait to do it again!

What does it cost for the quad bike tour and what time do you go also do you provide helmets my wife and I are interested we are 72 and 75 and I am used to riding a motor bike

Tour starts at 730 but we negotiated a slightly later time of 0800. It cost $120 per bike from memory but less if you share bike. Helmets provided
