We incorporated our visit into our foreshore bike ride along the excellent bike path. Very welcoming and obliging staff. We spent a couple of hours viewing and photographing the birds and climbed the whale viewing tower too. There were only a couple of empty aviaries,...More

The birds are beautiful, great gift shop and a cafe inside. We visited the birds one day, then the cafe only on the next two visits. Worth repeat visits, the cafe does a great breakfast. Fully self funded, the owners are constantly adding and improving...More

I am just not sure about the size of the cages for the bigger birds. It broke my heart to see the major Mitchell's walk and climb for their breakfast instead of flying. Is there truly any point breeding birds with no intent to release.

Great place to spend an hour or two. Great gift shop and amazing array of birds. The place looks a little run down tho, it could do with a bit of maintenance here and there.

Great variation of birds. Love all the colourful variations. Just slightly expensive for what it really is. Nice to educate kids though on the different bird types and where they are from.
