Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved the Ross Graham Lookout. I wouldn't say it is off the beaten track, not at all, its a short drive down a sideroad in Kalbarri Natinal Park but is well signed and the road is excellent. No, its just that most people tend to go to Nature's Window and Z Bend -and rightly so -but not as many come here.
But they a re missing out! Amazing views of the river below and on our visit there were plenty of Kangaroos hopping about down there.
We stayed for ages just drinking in the peace and quiet and it turned out to be one of our very favourite stops in Kalbarri N.P.

Easy drive and walk. And just as stunning as the views in the main area near natures window. Well worth the slight detour.

Went here as the first stop for the day. Is a longer drive but well worth the walk all the way down to river. A credit to the memory of Ross Graham.

The Ross Graham Lookout is less developed than some other walks and viewing points but it is a pretty place and worth the walk and the climb back up. Not quite as spectacular as some other parts of kalbarri but still great.

Absolutely secluded and beautiful spot. We were lucky enough to be there late afternoon and it was very quiet and peaceful.

This is an easy walk that is less than 1 km return. The lookout is simple and walk is all downhill then you go up the same way. I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite place in the NP, but definitely still check it out. We could fit our 21ft caravan in the carpark and the drive in was lovely and all sealed.

About the middle of Ajana-Kalbarri Rd there is access to Kalbarri NP with a sealed road leading to Hawk's Head lookout and Ross Graham lookout. After about 500 there is the turn to Ross where the road ends at the car park where restrooms and a sheltered picnic area are available. A walk of 100 meters takes you to the lookout which offers a limited view of the river. Continuing the not difficult path for another 250m you reach the river bed. Here the Murchison river flows between flat stones (on which it is easy to walk), after having formed a large pool upstream. A few Australian black swan (Cygnus atratus) swam quietly in the pool. Interesting are the rock walls of the gorge and numerous flowers that can be photographed here. An interesting walk to the Murchison river bed.

One of my highlights of Kalbarri! Such an easy walk from the carpark and spectacular views. We spent a long time there with binoculars taking in the landscape and local wildlife. Very clean toilets too

Took the short walk from the carpark to the lookout and enjoyed more spectacular views of the river and gorge, it really is a rugged place of breathtaking beauty. Decided against taking the trail down to the rive, I felt that I could get to the river bur would need assistance to climb back up. Nice memorial plaque paying tribute to Ross Graham, Kalbarri's first schoolteacher, avid conservationist and explorer of the Murchison River.

There is a walk here that is not listed anywhere on the trails WA website or at the site itself. Goes down to the riverbank to a beautiful spot with waders and other wildlife popping in for a drink. Would be a lovely spot for a picnic. Needs to be listed somewhere so more can enjoy it.l
