Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice little stop - not a must do, but a beautiful spot with nice paths and little shade area at the top. Good info signs about the area, lots of sweet birds and roos around. You only need 10-15 minutes up the top and can drive almost the whole way up. A short easy stroll (good paths would be accessible for people with limited movement/wheelchairs) Onsite toilets were clean and neat)

Not far out of town on the way to Kalbarri National Park take a right turn and checkout Meanarra Hill. It's a great look out spot over the township, river and ocean. The first part is a wheelchair friendly pathway from the car park to the lookout, about 2-300 m. There is a shelter and a great view. If you're feeling more energetic and able take the bush path back to the carpark...about 1.5k. Informational boards tell you about the area and the Nanda people.

We stopped by Meanarra Hill Lookout on our way back to Kalbarri from Denham. The carpark is decently sized with toilets available.
The path to the lookout is quite a short distance from the carpark. There are a couple of lookout points which show the scenic views of the area around the coast. the larger area, which happens to be the furthest away, also has cover and benches.
Like many of the attractions in the area, there are plenty of information boards so you can learn a few things about the area.
Although there are stairs, there is also a path that can be used instead so it is quite accessible.
There is a walking trail here called the Malleefowl Trail, a 1.5km loop which should take about an hour. We didn't have time but it would have been interesting to walk along the gravelly path.
It was a nice stop to get really nice views of the area.

We visited this newly revamped lookout to watch the sunset. The experience was great. The attention to detail in making this place easily accessible was obvious. We liked reading about the area on the signboards posted.

A short drive out of town this place is definitely worth a visit. Spectacular views and some interesting pieces of visual and audio information. Very well done and wheelchair access. 1.5km walk which we didn’t do as hot day when we visited.

This was newly upgraded. There were plenty of parking, toilets and information. Then a short walk to the lookout. There was lots of information regarding the great views and indigenous history of the area. Lots of shaded seating for just taking in the views.
Well done Kalbarri, a great asset.

The lookout was well made and developed and the views of the Murchison River, the township of Kalbarri , the ocean and the country around was well done and interesting. Not as spectacular as some parts of the park but worthy of a visit.

Catch a breeze and find out some local information as you see all over Kalbarri from atop the Meanarra Hill. It’s only a short walk from the car park.
