Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great area with quite a few trails. The most popular one is quite short, 2.4 km, but very nice with plenty of wildflowers around in spring. You can also take your dog with you as they are welcome here.

Jorgensen Park is an old golf course, now overgrown with little walk trails offshooting the main fairways. What you get is a great space with a range of terrains to explore. Keep to the fairways for an easy flat and level surface. For a bit of adventure head into the bush and choose your own adventure with the myriad of little trails all over the place.
When you are done make use of the picnic facilities and playground or head to one of the fabulous little cafes or bakeries in the area.
A perfect day trip with the whole family.

The Jorgenson park walk is very simple and can be done by anyone. Its a loop around the bush areas and into the car park.Quiet and relaxing. No special views unless you turn off to the left and go to the look out which has views over to Mundaring way.Very nice

This was my first time to the park. I took my 2yr Red Heeler to see what is was like. I went at about 6.00am. on a weekday. I was a little hesitant as his social skills are not the best so I kept him on a lead. The majority of dogs are off lead. So, if you have one like mine just be aware that another dog may want to make friends.
Certainly is a great place with or without a dog.

Heard about this place from a dog owner friend. Don't go if you don't like dogs. Not recommended in the heat but a nice bush walk on a cooler day.

A comfortable walk, approximately 1 hour. Walking anti-clockwise seemed to be more downhill slopes than clockwise. Just the 1 lookout point, but lovely bushland and surrounds, manageable for all ages.

This trail loop is less than 2.4km long, short and sweet - it offers an amazing view and being able to bring woofies is always a plus. Would definitely reccomend this place for a quick trip out!

While so many riders head straight to the Camel farm this is where the trails network really gets started from. Whilst you will need time and skills to unlock all the secret trails heading through, around and from here - so many link ups can be made. (There are no markers) A Strava search will help.
Massive thanks to the guys who are putting in some quality trails through the region.

I suspect at most times of the year Jorgensen Park is a fairly ordinary bushland park, popular with local walkers and dog owners and maybe picnickers on the weekend. Mind you, it is a pretty unusual local park in that it was once a golf course and the remnants of one-time fairways and greens are still clear to visible.
In early October though - when we were fortunate enough to stroll around its circuit - the wildflowers were putting on a spectacular show. The vibrancy of the kangaroo paws and the stands of Lechenaultias were especially memorable. Some wonderfully healthy looking grass trees, too. The walk is quite easy and took maybe an hour, but that included a lot of time to stop, admire and take pics.
