From the main road between Exmouth and the lighthouse you can find the signpost to the Mildura wreck. From the beach you can see a fair bit of what was left of the ship. It becomes more interesting if you know the history about it....More

We nearly got swept away on our first day of the holidays...do NOT snorkel out to the reef. Glad we all survived, and perhaps there were danger signs, but we didn't see them and there is NO help nearby. Stay in the shallows!

This attraction is easy to get to. Only minutes out of exmouth and can drive right up to the beach. It's only just off the beach so easily viewed from the top of the carpark. Best seen at low tide. Stone Marker at start of...More

Really? Perhaps historically interesting, but nothing much to see and you can't dive on it or anything

The wreck is okay, but the best are the view. We spoted a lot of turtles! Not a lot of people, great relaxing place

Interesting wreck to go and see if you're driving around the coast. Doesn't take long to do the detour but you won't find the information signs near the wreck (which would be logical). Instead, make sure you pull in by the large rock just at...More

It's pretty neat to see a wreck so close to shore, clearly visible. Maybe we missed the obvious, but we would have appreciated some good information signs explaining the history of the Mildura wreck, and the story behind its wreckage (an information sign is at...More

Great photos to be had with the sun behind the wreck. At low tide it was a sight to be seen. Not sure if it was a ship wreck as it looked like a submarine to me

Very interesting to see how much of the wreck remains. Also a very good site to watch the sunset if you want privacy.

Check the tide before heading out! We didn't even think of this and went at high tide and could only see the very tip of the wreck. Silly us.

Popped in here after visit to national park. It is worth the visit as the road is short and you can see the wreck anytime during the day. Better at low tide but still a good visit anytime. Easily accessible with short walk.
