Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Despite a timing change and a little difficulty finding the Norwest office (better signage required!) our pilot Connor was amazing. Safety information was clear and the flight was very smooth and we spent a happy hour or so viewing the Cape range gorges and then the ocean. We were lucky enough to see many humpback whales and groups of manta rays in the crystal clear water.
Connor made several turns so that we both had good views and gave us a helpful running commentary about the area and the wildlife.
This trip also proved a wise move as our snorkelling/spotting cruise was later cancelled due to sea conditions!!
Highly recommended.

Having driven along much of the Exmouth coast I wanted to see it from the air.
The Exmouth information centre suggested Norwest Air Work for an hour long flight.
Piloted by the capable and knowledgeable Oliver I was soon airborne and gazing down, in awe, at Exmouths canyons, beaches, campsites and seacreatures.
Two whale sharks accompanied by sharks in their wake, a pod of dolphins, mantaray and many turtles.
The colours of the waters are every shade of blue and look awesome beside the ochre , Pilbara rich earthy colours of the land.
Loved every minute, recommend this company highly.

Had a magnificent scenic flight with Connor, flying over Turquoise Bay and surrounding areas. He pointed out many whale sharks, humpbacks and calves, rays, dugong, sharks and other marine life. The colours of this region from the air are breathtakingly beautiful… aqua, sapphire blue, ochre red. Connor was friendly, knowledgeable and we felt very comfortable flying with him. I would highly recommend a scenic flight with this company.

We booked a one hour scenic flight with Norwest Air approximately 6 weeks before our arrival in Exmouth. On the day of the flight we, went to the airstrip at Yardie creek, and the aircraft landed at the specified arrival time, but we soon found out the pilot was not going to take us. He simply told us that some other folks who were doing a Whale survey had also apparently booked wanted the aircraft. They basically told us to leave. Our cancellation was not due to weather or mechanical issues.
This would not have been so bad if we had been notified in advance by phone or email, but there was absolutely no communication! We carefully planned our trip to Exmouth, and to have an entire day wasted due to poor management was more than frustrating. I'm sure if you actually take the fligth it would be amazing, but I simply have nothing good to say about our dealings with Norwest Air.

My wife and I experienced an amazing 1 hour Scenic Flight over Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia with Connor from Norwest Air Work. Connor handled everything from taking our booking, providing an informative pre-flight/safety briefing to being our pilot and tour guide! It is a must do for visitors to Exmouth as it is only from the air that you can see the entire wonderful landscape including the canyons, beaches the reef and other items of interest including the best snorkeling spots all the way down to Yardie Creek. During our flight Connor spotted 3 Humpback whales, 4 Whalesharks, 2 dugongs and at least 12 manta rays swimming together. We even saw one of the Humpback whales breaching a couple of times!!! We even assisted the 'spotter' plane for the Whaleshark boats. We had such a wonderful experience thanks to Connor's very professional, calm and friendly manner. Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience and epic ending to our week in Exmouth. We stayed this past week and it had been a little cloudy during our stay so we thought we'd do this scenic flight to get one more sneaky view of the reef since it was going to be such a beautiful day. Luckily they fit us in for an early flight time and Olivia was there waiting for us. We had such an amazing 60min flight! Loved seeing the Ningaloo and Cape Range National Park from the sky, we even spotted four whale sharks! Nothing beats a view like this! Highly recommend Norwest Air Work and doing a scenic flight during your stay in Exmouth.

My husband and I have spent a week in Exmouth. We decided to take a scenic flight with Norwest Air Work and from start to finish it was awesome. We saw Whale Sharks, Dolphins and Dugongs not to mention some of the most stunning coastline and gorges. Thankyou to our Pilot Olivia for her vast local knowledge and to Sam our Whale Shark spotter. This is a must do while you are here. We loved every minute. Perfect ending to our week away. Highly recommend Norwest Air Work.

During our stay in Exmouth we had the good sense to enjoy this scenic flight.
It was truly unbelievably beautiful, to see the gorges, the turquoise water, the reefs, spotting a whale and her calf, then a whale shark, it looked a big tadpole for up there lol.
Our pilot, RICHARD, was bloody fantastic, it was very windy and quite bumpy at times but he was in total control at all times and gave us great info as we flew around, and even circled the whale and calf several times so that we could have a better look.
I applaud his flying skill upon descending and landing as the wind was rather naughty but he got us down safely.
Many thanks Richard, a job well done.
Very very highly recommended, a MUST DO whilst in Exmouth.

Think we want to do this, but not sure how we could get to the air strip, as we'll be in Exmouth on a cruise. Our arrival date is Dec. 24 and I hear taxi service is a bit limited. Can Norwest pick us up from the marina and drop us off? Also, I don't think we can afford the 1 hour flight, much as we'd like. Therefore, what would we see on the half hour flight? I guess the Ningaloo Reef area is at the top of my list, but the gorge sounds interesting as well. If possible, we would want to do a flight in the afternoon.

Hi!
We're very sorry for the late reply. If you haven't already made arrangements for a scenic flight, we would love to take you up. We can transport you to and from Exmouth Aerodrome from the marina. The 30 minute scenic flight will take you over the beautiful canyons, Ningaloo Reef and a few other popular sights along the way.
Please give us a call on +61899492888 or visit our website to organise a date and time for your scenic flight.
Thanks!
Juan
