What an experience, I went solo for an open water dive course with Exmouth Diving center. My teacher was Mat, he was patient, respectful and really friendly. I had dived once before but still had uncertainty’s about some of the exercises. Mat took the time to make me very comfortable under the ocean and would highly recommend dive center as right from booking to the end was a really great experience and money well spent. The sea life around exmouth is sensational! We even saw a grey nosed shark!

On booking we weren’t advised of the minimum numbers required to proceed. Our tour was changed to an Eco tour given the unlikely event of spotting a whale shark .
Team members Sara,Corinne , Shane and Nick were professional in their approach and I commend Sara for her extra care of me given my limitations as a snorkeller.. most appreciated!!
We saw whales breaching with their calves and some were lucky to see a turtle and a brief look at a manta ray.
Food was adequate and a champagne was provided at the end of the tour.

I took the Open Water Certification course. Ester was my instructor for all three days and she was amazing. Her expertise, love of the ocean and people made this course a wonderful experience and checked off a top-tier bucket list item. The skipper and crew were top notch as well and they landed some great dive sites and they kept us well fed. I highly recommend this company for all excursions and I plan to dive the navy pier with them next. The visibility, bottom structure, and finned critters made this a life-changing experience. I'm hooked.

EDC is hands down the best operator for Whaleshark swims as well as diving courses. I did almost all of my tours with them and their service was excellent. The crew consists of a bunch of amazing people who are not only brilliant at their job but are also friendly, hospitable, and super helpful. I did my PADI course here and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Instructor Lindsay S was a great instructor (and the whole crew too).

A well run diving operation from the skippers to the dive masters. My family of 4 adult divers had 2 great days of diving. Our last 2 dives had a change of location due to weather conditions but you can’t control the weather! The highlight for me was at Lighthouse Reef at the Wall, the fish life was awesome. Thank you Exmouth Dive.

We did both the Muiron Island snorkel tour and the eco mega fauna tour. Both were excellent and it is all a very slick operation. All wetsuits, fins, snorkels etc are fitted and provided, there is a lot of accommodation made for a variety of ability, and was nice to have a large range of age groups present on the tour. Food and facilities etc. all really good.
The team are really good fun and very informative, run a tight ship. Muiron island tour they take you to both sides of the island, and you snorkel out in a group and they help to point out interested fish and coral etc.
Mega fauna was great- got to swim with a whaleshark and manta ray. They prep you really well before going into the water on how to get in ASAP and swim in a way to maximise your time with the whaleshark. Was military precision. One of the guides takes photos of you all which you can get after.

Had good fun on this tour. The team on board was fantastic and had lots of knowledge on whales, the tour etc . We visited towards the end of October and got really lucky to see a couple of whales l. We were advised that the whales usually migrate towards early oct.
Would def do it again!

Amazing snorkel experience - we did the snorkel with WhaleSharks and had a great time.
Booking and service was efficient, friendly and responsive.
Crew was professional, fun and made sure everyone had a great time and experience with the WhaleSharks. Would highly recommend to book earlier to guarantee a spot. Photos and videos are also free :)

We had an amazing time on the Eco Tour on Sunday - the whole crew was really friendly and skilled! This was our second time using this tour company and we’ve been really impressed both times. We both love to snorkel but don’t have heaps of deep ocean experience - the crew looked out for us an ensured we were having a nice time. Super convenient to be able to borrow wetsuits and gear. We felt so honoured and lucky to see a whale shark and humpbacks on the tour. Would definitely do this tour again in Exy - highly recommend!

1/2 day Whale Watching and Snorkel
WOW!!!! I can not express how amazing this tour was. Firstly ....Thank you to our guides for looking after us. The ocean was too choppy for hubby and I as new snorkelers and our guides looked after us so well.
We were very fortunate in seeing pods of Orcas, Humpback whales and to top it off a Whale Shark.
AMAZING!!!

Information you could give, ie average dive depth , big fish , vis , how long (approx) to drive from Perth, dive cost with my own gear. Any information you can give would be appreciated . Regards Ray.

Hi, does the bot provide full wetsuits for late May early June? How has the water temp been this past week? How far off shore do the whaleshark boats typically travel?

Yes, we did both snorkelling with whale sharks and diving. Late April I was told the water temp was about 27C - it was warm and very comfortable. Not sure how far out the boats go - many KM - it depends where the whale sharks are. Even though it's on the Middle of the ocean you feel safe and well looked after.
