Hi Carina, Whale sharks are most common on Ningaloo Reef between March and August each year. However we do often see them right through to the end of October on our Eco Shoulder Season Tours! Humpback whales migrate up and down the west coast in the winter months with the best time for interactions being August through till October. If we can be of any help, please let us know! Hello Thank you for your question. Our catamaran has a platform at either side which is at water level. Once on the platform there are three steps up and then two steps down back into the boat. To head to the front of the vessel there are the two steps again to make your way along the side to the front Our powerboat marlin board at the rear is slightly above sea level, once on the marlin board, there are two steps up to the main deck area. Hi We would love to have you on board. Whale Sharks are best seen from in the water and our crew will help you through your experience. We have floatation aids on board also which are used quite regularly by people who are nervous or not strong swimmers. The boat must stay a certain distance away from the sharks so we don't endanger them, for this reason we can sometimes see them from the boat but not always. Hello. The Whale Shark season does not start until the middle of March so unfortunately January will be too early. If you visit in January it is very quiet but still lots to see. You can go snorkelling, diving, 4 wheel driving and fishing. If we can be of any further help please contact us again. Happy safe travels Regards Bec

Hi Liz- thanks for your query. Yes it is often possible to See them Both in one day however usually we don't see many manta rays until later in May. The weather is usually great in April though and so are the Whalesharks.
