We were very pleased with the information about the attactions in Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef provided by the local Visitors Centre. The staff were friendly and pointed out places to visit that we hadn't heard of, like the craggy Shothole Canyon.

We werent actually booking anything but the staff were very helpful regardless. We did end up getting our National park pass here in the end. Lots of free info regarding snorkel trails etc in the park too.

Hi it can cost as little as $10/ day. There is a lot of outlets in Exmouth that you can hire snorkeling gear from.

All our gear was provided by the tour companies we went with. You could try one of them and see if they hired gear separate from a tour, but I've got no idea of the cost. Whale shark swim gave us free hire for the rest of... More
