We had such a wonderful time on this tour.
Caitlyn, the bus driver/ deckie was very friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to the history of Exmouth!
The skipper, Conner also was very professional with a great scenes of humour.. even when his drone decided to join us all for a swim :-)
We were all made to feel relaxed and comfortable and we saw some of the amazing amount of sea life Inc dolphins, turtles and reef sharks!
Cannot recommend Ningaloo Glass Bottom Boats enough, it’s great value for money also!!

Did the half day glass bottom cruise with the Ningaloo Ecology Cruises team last week. We were gobsmacked for the rest of our trip up to Exmouth at the experience we had.
The team is super fun, friendly and helpful. They made the cruise informative and enjoyable. I could talk about the rare chance event of spotting a beautiful whale shark that gave us a lovely hello purely by chance, or the gorgeous coral, fish and turtles we saw, but I want to rave on about the team a little more.
As a non-swimmer who wanted to try snorkelling, I felt scared when I got into the water. But two of the team held onto me till I was comfortable, knew how to breathe through the snorkelling gear, and to navigate the water with the life buoy. Specially have to say Shona, you have my heart for how safe you made me feel while experiencing the beautiful reef - I'll never forget you for it.
Highly recommend these guys. Our trip would have been incomplete without them.

Fantastic four hour trip to Ningaloo Reef. Stacey collected us from our hotel and drove us to the wreck, good travelogue on the way. On arrival we were met by skipper Craig who gave us a brief talk about where we were going and then on to the boat,
Craig kept us fully entertained with his commentary throughout, having been a dive boat operator, park ranger, his knowledge was second to none and he knew his way around the reef. We saw reef sharks, giant clams,a huge turtle and hundreds of colourful fish. Absolutely brilliant.
After anchoring in a Sandy patch so as not to harm the reef, the flippers and goggles were handed out and all those willing and able went off to snorkel.
It was a memorable morning, great value for money, $70 concession, $80 full fare, very worthwhile and one you wouldn’t want to miss.
Suitable for old and young alike.
Well run and managed. 5 stars.

Our family of 5 went on the reef tour with Nae as our bus driver/tour guide and Craig as our skipper/tour guide. Both of them were awesome, their local knowledge is very interesting and informative. Highlights for us were Nae’s explanation of the American base and naval communication station and definitely Craig’s (very funny) dad jokes 😂
Our 6 yr old son wasn’t too keen on snorkeling for long so he sat up on the boat with Craig while the rest of us kept snorkeling, which was fantastic.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone coming to this part of the world, it’s makes so much difference to have guides who are approachable, funny and obviously love their work.

We had a fantastic time on this trip. Katelyn the bus driver did a great job with a rowdy bus full of screaming kids; kept her cool and made the trip really enjoyable. Connor the skipper was entertaining and great fun. Both deserve a beer from the boss!!

Went for the 2 hour coral view and snorkel tour
Boat operator was great, full of knowledge and genuinely funny. Took his time to explain the history of rhe reef and find some of the more notable residents such as the giant queensland groper and sleeping reef sharks.
We saw turtles and a giant anemone with clown fish.
Snorkling was fantastic and the water was quite comfortable. All the gear is supplied if you need it and was disinfected before use.
I would do this activity again and recommend it to everyone of all ages.

We were picked up at our resort and the driver (Rachel)gave great historical info on the Exmouth area . We called in to have a look at the Mildura wreck just off the coast and then headed down to where the boat was to take us over the reef .this took about 40 mins all up . Once there we met the skipper Jeremy who gave us the rundown as to what to expect etc . The boat would have comfortably taken 16 people and we only had 9 for the trip so plenty of room. The skipper was very knowledgeable about the reef and coral in general and he was easy to listen to and had a great sense of humour . I was not going to snorkel but my wife was keen. The wind was up and the water a bit choppy and my wife struggled to get through the water . Rachel took her under her wing and they both ventured further on to the reef. That made my wife’s day. I can’t recommend the crew (including Shona! ) highly enough and they made the whole experience very enjoyable

Having now done both Glass Bottom Boat tours available in Exmouth, I can safely say this is the better experience.
The tour guides clearly know the local history and habitat in a way you'd only expect from someone who genuinely loves and cares about the region and wants to share that with others.
The price is remarkably good for the experience provided, being collected from our accomodation as opposed to having to meet at a jetty is a huge plus. The reef we went to was comparable in quality to the islands, but only a fraction of the distance. Local knowledge meant we were able to see such a diversity of marine life in a single trip.
It even felt convenient with our 10 month old baby which can normally make such experiences challenging.
Will do it again!

We enjoyed our morning on the reef with skipper Caitlin and deckhand Annie. Caitlin was very knowledgeable and her insights about the reef were interesting. We snorkelled off the back of the boat with fins, masks and snorkel provided. Saw some different types of coral and many colourful fish. Some snorkellers saw a turtle. Pick your day as it can be windy out there. Also recommend booking in advance as all operators seem busy and many tours are booked out weeks in advance.

Hi guys, thank you so much for your kind review and advice to prospective guests in the future. We hope you appreciate the work we did, despite some windy conditions sometimes. Definitely a good idea to book an advance. Ningaloo can get busy, but if you put your times, there are other times when no one’s here and you can have the whole boat to yourself.

Fantastic experience!
We were picked up from our accommodation by Emma (marine biologist) whom gave us a very informative drive to the jetty. The vibe on the bus was great, the kids loved it and were also very entertaining.
On board the boat we met the skipper who is very funny, (we needed a laugh and he kept a smile on our dial for the whole trip).
Not only is the skipper funny but also has plenty of knowledge to share on the trip.
Emma also gave a spectacular talk about coral and had the the kids attention asking them questions and vise versa. (Lovely lady).
Snorkeling equipment was supplied, to those who did not take there own.
Whilst viewing the coral in the glass bottom boat we were lucky enough to see turtles and the Australian version of Nemo being Elmo the clown fish, and various other fish.
The one hour snorkeling was amazing.
Great tour, Jonas (skipper)!
Thank you Skipper and Marry Ann (Emma) one more fab memory to add to our collection

Our cruise ship Regatta will be in Exmouth on 8 January 2018, and I like to make a reservation for 2 adults for that day. Can you help me?
Written 3 December 2017
Hello;
Thank you for your question - it is a FAQ from the cruise ship patrons.
While we certainly have glass bottom boat tours operating on the cruise ship day all bookings are handled by the cruise ships’ onboard travel agency.
We kindly advise to book early as despite multiple departures space is very limited.
Good luck and looking forward to host you onboard!

We will be docking on Sat. March 25 at 8am and departing at 5pm with Oceania Cruises. We have to be on
board by 4pm How do we get from the ship to your location? Do you have Glass Bottom Boat tours at any time during this time frame? What time would they be available?
Looking forward to your reply as we leave Canada on Feb. 17th.
Written 7 February 2017
Hello and many thanks for your query. We will have 1-hour Coral Viewing tours available on the day of your cruise ship's arrival into Exmouth and have made multiple departures available to the ship.
Your cruise ship has booked out our vessels on the 25th of March and they sell these tours directly to passengers. So, for bookings, please contact them. They also have transport organised to get you from the Exmouth Marina around to Tantabiddi Boat Ramp where our tours operate.
We hope to host you onboard next month and safe travels from Canada!
