Flametree Cellar Door and Winery is located on the picturesque shores of Geographe Bay, at the gateway to one of the world's great wine producing regions - the Margaret River Wine Region.

By winning Australia's most well-known and respected wine accolade, the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy, with their first ever red wine, Flametree Wines has firmly established themselves in the upper echelon of Margaret River wine producers. Proving that this accolade was not a coincidence and that Flametree was actually deserving of the prestigious award, the next vintage was also a finalist in the following years' show. This unprecedented success has since continued, with many critic reviews and awards.

The welcoming and impressive Cellar Door building has a Hampton beach house style of architecture and is a must see when visiting the region. With an open fire place, inviting deck and beautiful gardens the Flametree Cellar Door is suitable for visiting at any time of the year. While you're visiting taste the range of Flametree wines, browse the current art exhibition and range of merchandise.

The friendly cellar door team offer a casual and relaxed wine tasting experience, with no pretension just the pleasure of exceptional wines. Supporting the local art community, Flametree exhibits local art throughout the year.

Open daily 10am - 5pm.

Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday & Anzac morning.

I visited Flametree with passengers off the Queen Mary (moored off Busselton) on Monday 13/02/2017. As the tour guide with 48 passengers it was embarrassing! Our tour of three wineries was pre-arranged and Flametree really blew the opportunity to shine. I have visited Flametree previously and have been disappointed by the staff and that really shone through on the day.... More

Hi John, thank you for your feedback, I am truly sorry we were not up to your standards on the day, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service, we always want our service to match the high quality of our wines. We were asked by the organisers of the day from the Queen Mary to provide a light cheese platter... More

This is located on the main road between Busselton and Dunsborough. The building and outdoor area is lovely. The cellar door is is nice for a tasting wines and the service is very good. The wines are a bit on the pricey side in this competitive market.

This winery combines lovely, simple modern architecture, with wines that have a consistent note running through them. Some are good and the others are excellent. Therefore we joined their wine club, as we felt confident enough that with a random half dozen turning up every six months we can't go wrong! There are a lot to taste, so you may... More

I already knew I liked their chardonnay. Flametree has a nice range of wines. Really lovely staff at the cellar door--we left with all sorts of recommendations for our travels. If you stop there, head to the little fridge for the Cambray sheep's cheese and the venison chorizo (buy more of that cheese than you think you need---it was wonderful).... More

I am a Wyndham member and I love being able to walk across the highway from the hotel to taste the wines at Flametree. As a member, I get a little discount. I always buy a half-dozen of their delicious wines, that are bagged up to easily carry back across the road to the hotel. When I choose to stay... More

Beautiful little winery with very friendly and knowledgable staff. We didn't feel rushed or pressurised to buy in any way but still ended up leaving with a selection of the good stuff as it was too good to leave behind!
