Oakway is probably further off the beaten track than any other boutique winery/brewery in the south west but, go ahead, make the trip for a slurp and a graze: you'll be glad you did. The Geographe wine region seems to do the "alternate" varieties better than anywhere else in WA and so it is at Okaway with impressive Vermintino, Nero d'Alvola and Malbec. The pizzas are delicious, too -- particulalry if you start with the bianco -- just olive oil, salt and rosemary -- before you get into the meat and cheese versions. We'll certainly be back -- sure, it's a bit of a trek but it's also a lovely drive through the forest. NB don't let Google maps decieve: access this winery via Goodwood Rd turning into Farley Rd. It's the only way in and out.

Drive through beautiful forest with abundant wildlife onto the red dirt of an unsealed road and you’ll find this charming winery, nano brewery and pizzeria.
We started by tasting the wine overlooking the vineyard. Dave the dog was given a bowl of water to quench his thirst! The wine tasting was really good, we ended up buying a few bottles of the Vermentino! After the tasting we decided to have a bite to eat. A magnificent grazing plate of local cheeses, pickles and meats accompanied another glass of wine and one of Ned’s Session Ales. My daughter (as we all did) loved the pizza. A white fluffy pizza base covered with sweet red onion marmalade, cheese and locally made pepperoni. So good, we’ll be back to eat another!
Thank you to you both for a great lunch and see you again soon. Oh, if you ever do decide to start merchandising the Ned’s T shirts I’ll buy one!

A fantastic little Winery/Nano Brewery. Small but couldn’t fault it. The best pizzas we have had for a long time. The boys enjoyed their paddle of beers. A small table of blocks in the corner kept the kids busy. Will definitely be back when in the region again for another pizza.

So happy we found this beautiful little winery just out of donnybrook. The couple running it were very kind and helpful. Their range of drinks were divine, with a crowd favourite being Los Niños Malbec. Highly recommend!

Tasted wines & so nice we stayed for pizza which was lovely topped it off with caramel slice & coffee looking out over vineyard from the veranda. Bought some wine & recommend a visit for lovely wines & great hosts.

We visited here late afternoon with a group of children and adults for pizza and wine. On arrival we were informed another large group had just order so food service will be at least 30 minutes - massive tick giving us prior warning. We were served a cheese platter immediately which was fast tracked due to the wait.
The wine was wonderful, my favourite the merlot. The craft beer also got the tick of approval, a micro-brewery beer only sold on tap.
Once the pizza’s arrived we were blown away by the simplicity but flavoursome meal. The gluten free base also got thumbs
up from the whole table.

Lovely family lunch today. Delicious pizza enjoyed by all from toddler to granny. Great wine and beer on tap.

We felt privileged that you chose Oakway Estate for your family lunch. Wayne makes all the gluten free pizza bases in house and everyone loves them. Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review.
