Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A short walk from the car park, and from Greens Pool, you come across the Elephant Rocks.
These look like elephants in the water.
The beach provides sheltered and safe swimming and snorkelling.
The car park can get busy, however with the upgrade program taking place this may get easier after June.
The upgrade will hopefully provide better parking and toilets.
Note: Due to an upgrade to the facilities, the park will be closed from beginning of February 2020 until June 2020. Check local websites/visitor centres for details.

Nice to see but nothing out of this world. We went on Christmas day and it was very windy. At least we could get a car park here unlike greens pool.
Dirt track and a few steps if you are unsteady on your feet.

The rocks look like elephants from above and behind. Lovely experience in nature and Greens Pool is right next door. Short walk down to the beach but if you want to get right behind Elephant rocks, be prepared to get wet upto your waist.

This is always worth a visit. I regularly go to Greens Pool then use the walking track to trek to Elephant Cove. It is a fantastic place to take a few photos. We had a good walk around before visiting the other nearby attractions.
Not much in life is free but this is a spectator's paradise. Beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife.
They have done up the road in and it has amenities and lots of parking.

We visited Elephant Rocks after visiting Greens Pool... the rocks definitely look like Elephants... the views are amazing .... the tide was too high to be able to go through the narrow walk to the beach below but it was still magical. Expect this to be rally popular in the summer. The only thing to be careful of is the stairs are quite steep and seemed quite worn but take your time.

Elephant Rocks sits alongside Greens Pools and is another spectacular part of this coast line in the south of Western Australia. Probably some of the prettiest beach and coast scenery anywhere. Parking and access is excellent

Elephant cove is a great photo opportunity at any time of day.
Park at greens pool then rock hop 7-8mins along the coast to this place. Have a soak in the sheltered calm water then continue along the coast for more exploring or have a nap stretched out on the smooth rocks.

Definately not worth it. While the constructions took place there wasnt any chance to get there. All the roads were closed and the rangers couldnt give us any solution to get there. We walked for an hour fir NOTHING. How easy is to put the pennalties apply sign but not giving any alternative?
Not coming here never again and wont recommend to anyone.

Well serviced and designed ablutions with plenty of parking on bitumen access road. Thx
Access path to points of interest were well maintained. Thx
Some erosion issues need to be addressed with drainage off relatively new bitumen around car park.
Disappointingly.....
Some keen fishing male local ignored parking signs to save a few metres and another local female ignored No Dogs signage to walk their American pit bull along the walk path with no muzzle and defecating on the track. (Both adults with car regos for this region)
Fortunately the 15 minute walk to Elephant Rocks and back track to Green Pool were very pleasant and picturesque and a photographers dream.
Shame about the attitude of some for this amazing treasure.

We almost forgot to go here and what a tragedy that would have been!
I loved the experience.
A bit of a walk down some beautiful wooden stairs .
A tiny gap that opens up to such a clean, beautiful beach.
The view from above is spectacular- please do not miss this if you love beautiful views and the beach.

whats the closest caravan park, accommodation, camping site to elephant rocks
Written 5 January 2018
Hi there. Ocean Beach has a very large caravan park with all the mod cons. Great location. The Denmark River Mouth Camp site is also close.
For a much more rustic, rural camp try one of the camp sites Party Beach, Shelly Beach or Flood Gates. They are further afield, much smaller but gorgeous

Unfortunately doga are not permitted as you can read on the officially website of Denmark (I cannot post the link) search in google (William Bay National Park Dogs) and look on the Denmark page under questions
