Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I took my 66 year old sister up one of our local walks while she visited from the Netherlands. We'd had 17mm of rain the night before so it was a little humid and the sweat flowed.
The walk was 10klms up and back. It was good to see the vegetation recovering from the fires. The view from the top was not as spectacular as it would have been with clear skies but still good.

There is already a separate tripadvisor listing for "Mount Lindesay Walk Trail" with several reviews, so at the risk of duplication I'll add a review here which describes my visit to the Mount Lindesay National Park to do that walk. The Mt Lindesay picnic area is quite a drive north of Denmark, and part of the roads needed to access the national park are gravel. So there is some driving required to get here, because it is quite a bit out of the way, and be prepared for some rough conditions, although it's certainly manageable with a 2WD.

There's not much at the National Park except the picnic area and walk trail. The picnic area is at the end of the access road, and has very minimal facilities consisting of just one picnic table plus a drop toilet.

As for the walk trail, it's quite nice, but I wouldn't recommend it on a wet day like the one of my visit. There are some tricky stretches of wet granite. I scampered to the summit in only 70 minutes, in my effort to dodge some rain-showers, but in most cases allow about 3 hours for the return trip. There are some expansive views from the top. It's a nice hike, but you really need to enjoy hiking to make it worth coming here.

This is one of our favourite walks in this region. A well defined track that passes through different vegetation zones. I wouldn't recommend walking when wet as there are areas of Granite that can be slippery. The view from the top is stunning and well worth the effort.

The park has good bbq facilities at the base of Mt Lindsay. We did the walk to the top- best to go early in the day especially if it gets warm. It's a 3 hour round trip- 2 to get up & 1 back down. Wear sensible shoes & hat- we saw several people with neither & having a hard time! The last third is the steepest & near the top is bare rock which can be slippery when wet. Fantastic 360 degree views from the summit- well worth a visit if you have the time.
