Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s just THE place to see and stay in this National Park...
I fell in love of this beaches, landscapes...
I didn’t want to leave it!!
You must go there
You can stay less than 1 hour to take picture and look at the view, or you can do a little walk, or you can swim in the turquoise water!

The views and walks are great. Easy access because the roads had been graded recently. Did try to go here in Feb 2020 but the roads were in terrible condition massive corrugations not great for our old Troopy that doesn't have flash new suspension. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Point Ann and St. Mary's Inlet. Certainly recommend a visit

We drove to Point Ann on a sunny Sunday afternoon and had lunch in the main shelter overlooking the bay. The gravel roads were ordinary. Corrugations were bad. Glad we were in a 4WD. However, the amenities, walk trail, BBQ facilities, camp site and so forth were absolutely brilliant. It is a long drive from Bremer Bay (140km round trip) but worth the visit!

We drove out here for the day....along the way stopping to take photos of the beautiful wild flowers.
Some wonderful walks and lookouts to see whales in which we saw many. Bbq places and seating..and drives to nearby beaches. The ocean was beautiful...a stunning place to see.

The gravel road, in the National Park, which requires payment, was absolutely appalling. It hadn't been graded for months and was badly corrugated. In our 4 WD, we couldn't do more than 20 kph and considered turning back, but we kept going in the end. We let the tyres down for the return trip, which made it slightly less uncomfortable. In an ordinary car it would have been horrendous. It is unconscionable that Point Ann is promoted as a tourist hotspot for whale watching in the season, but they can't even grade the road. I hate to think what overseas tourists must think as their car gets shaken to bits. A lot of money has been spent on lookouts, boardwalks, barbecue areas and decent toilets, but none was apparently earmarked to keep the road in good condition. Bad job, Parks and Wildlife!

WOW WOW WOW!!! We drove from Bremer Bay along many kms of unsealed dirt roads but it wasn't too bad and drove to Point Ann. What an amazing sight this was. There was no-one there except this stunning beach and wildflowers, and an amazing walk that took you either down to the St Mary's Beach or up to a lookout that overlooked Point Ann and the beach. It was the most bluest of water and just the most amazing sight ever.
Definitely recommend a drive through Fitzgerald River NP for its stunning views and beaches

About 45km of dirt roads, 2WD. See the start of a rabbit proof fence (no such thing as 2 rabbits), see whales calving in bay, spectacular coast line and wildflowers.

We were told by friends to go here and glad we did.Its a fair way out of Bremer Bay so make sure you have at least half a day up your sleeve to travel out there and enjoy it and to get back. You have to travel on gravel unsealed roads but they are of a good standard and any 2x2 will make it easily. It was a windy day so the seas were quite choppy but I could imagine on a fine day there would be spectacular views of the never ending ocean and whales breaching in front of you.Great picnic BBQ area so make a day of it.Toilets, hiking trails, wildflowers galore and wildlife all around you.Worth the visit and $15 entry to the park

After negotiating the dreadful road through the National Park we found excellent facilities for parking etc. The beaches are stunning.
