What a fabulous park, a treat to walk through, and so many rare trees all in their autumn colours. You can't help but feel better after a stroll here.

Amazing. A must visit for nature and tree lovers. I would visit again and take a picnic. Plenty of shady parking. Lots of walks.

We enjoyed the ambiance of the Tree park. We spent about 3 hours wandering around the various spectacular walks. Quite invigorating.

Had no idea this was here and just drove in.So glad we did and wish we had more time to walk the whole park. The beautiful trees from all over the world all in leaf(most are deciduous).Lovely walking trails and no other sould around for us to have the place to ourselves.Dog friendly I presume as I saw a dog arrive as we were leaving.Beautiful countryside and worth the visit

Just South of Balingup is this wonderful Arboretum. We only had 45 minutes to explore, so we chose the Oak walk. This was lovely stroll enjoying & learning about the variety of Oak Trees from around the world. This is a well looked after resource. Next time we will allow ourselves a couple of hours to do justice to this park.

Picnicked at the Arboretum this time, might try another area next time. Looking forward to going back in the winter or spring when there should be water in the stream and the grass in the fields.
(Toilet facilities a little gross, not because they are drop toilets, just the sink could use a good clean.)

Lovely winter day for a wonder around. Think I missed the Autumn colours! I liked the old cottage & lake at the entrance. Entry via donation as park run by volunteers.

My friend and I were happy and surprised that dogs were allowed in the valley ( on lead of course!) but this soon became obvious why as we pass sheep grazing in the paddocks. To think this beautiful park is available for free makes it a true gem! Certainly worth a visit!

Am not able to walk far without resting. Are there seats around Park? Presumably, the terrain is not suitable for a mobility scooter ?
We plan to stay in BALINGUP the first weekend in MAY to avail of the OPEN GARDENS in vicinity.
Main interest is AUTUMN Foliage; especially maples & oaks. How far spread out are these for walking ?

Some areas are reasonable flat and can be walked fairly easily even for people with mobility issues, the OAK and PEAR walks are not suitable .

Can dogs run off lead here?

There are sheep in the paddocks, so i would say no dogs.
The best time to visit ?

Each season offers a different experience. There are quite a few deciduous trees planted in the park so autumn is a particularly nice time to visit. Spring and summer are also good. During winter some parts of the grass areas can get boggy but the trails are normally okay.
