We were easily rescheduled after an ex-tropical low passed through the area on our nominated day.
The very professional family crew quickly located the pod of Orca and quietly followed them all the while keeping us fully informed about what the Orca were doing and why.
The highlight was the pod seemingly allowing us to tag along on their hunt, kill and allocation of food amongst the pod family.

My partner and I went out with this company in Bremer Bay for their Orca tour in January.

It was by far one of the highlights of our trip. The boat was well maintained with many viewing points. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and even know some of the pods and Orcas as they record each sighting for research purposes. They were the most respectable of all the other boats on the water to the Orcas ensuring they weren’t too close or disrupting their migratory path - they allowed the Orcas to come to them which they did.

They have speakers allocated throughout the boat where they have commentary about each pod and Orca seen as well as any other wild life which we saw while on the tour.

I would 100% recommend this company based on their customer service, knowledge and above all respect for the Orcas as well as ocean life.

This was one of the most wonderful things I have experienced for myself. I got myself off the lounge watching nature documentaries on the Orca and put myself on the boat 50km out to sea, and boy, was I thrilled and then some! We witnessed Orca fairly soon after getting there and were greeted by a curious baby then a mature Orca. I was pleased then and there but it just built and grew and grew into an amazing experience! We got to watch the pods collect as a group and go on a successful hunt on a Beaked Whale and it was both thrilling and sad at the same time. At one stage everywhere I looked there were Orca and it was mother nature at her best. The sun was shining, the ocean soaked us, the male was impressive, the females were showing off, the Albatross was a side star, the poor whale the unwilling victim and made the Orca work for their dinner and we got to see this all unfold in the capable and willing hands from the crew at Whale Watch WA. Simply amazing and worth every cent we paid. We didn't take the chance with sea sickness so followed the advice from the website and glad we did. We had an amazing experience.

We had an amazing tour with WWWA, and would recommend it to anyone who likes animals and/or the ocean. It is great to see a family business that is so passionate and professional, educating the public about the beauty of our marine life.

We paid to see a Blue Whale, which we saw within 80 minutes of leaving Freo, and stayed with for several wonderful hours. But we also saw hundreds of dolphins, a manta ray and a sunfish, which blew us away. The weather was perfect all day too, with the wind never getting over 6 knots. In my view it is the best wildlife tour that you can do from Perth.

The crew know exactly where the whales were. We were soon amongst five pods of about 25 whales in total. Some reclusive and some curious and adventurous. The latter cam to check us out. Flapping, tail slapping and diving were all in their repertoire with their white bellies ohug and then moved on. The perfect day made it easy for us to enjoy the spectacle. Windless calm conditions coupled with blue skies resulted in the perfect morning. The intelligent commentary and tentative assistants all helped to enhance the experience. Top day out. I recommend it unreservedly.

We were a group fortunate to have the opportunity to fly to Bremer Bay with Corsaire Aviation Friday 19th March for a day cruise with Whalewatch WA.
We were greeted at the airport by Leanne who transferred us to the boat. We were delayed landing due to a fog. Thank you Whalewatch WA for waiting for us.
The cruise is run by a very friendly, professional family. They are all very dedicated to making sure everyone has an amazing experience on the day.
There was a 2 to 3 metre swell on the day but staff were very busy making sure people were kept safe while moving around the boat and advised us to remain seated when it was necessary.
We were lucky to find the Orcas as soon as we arrived at the canyon and we followed them from a distance for the 4 or so hours before we had to head back to port.
Whalewatch are very careful and respectful not to disturb these beautiful creatures as they go about their day which was great to see.
There was a professional photographer (no need to photos) and Marine Biologist on board to talk about the Orcas and other sea life in the area and answer any questions..
The boat was very clean and staff were constantly wiping tables and collecting dishes.
I would advise to take medication for sea sickness just in case the conditions are a little rough.
It is such a special experience you won’t want to compromise your day.
We all would recommend Whalewatch WA for your cruise in Bremer Bay to see the Orcas. You will be glad you did.

Fabulous four days with the friendliest family you will ever meet. We were on the Orca tour from Bremer Bay March 22-25, 2022. We had a great booking experience when we contacted WWWA almost a month prior to our departure from the U.S. They helped us figure out the logistics of all aspects of our visit, while making the booking and payment process really easy. This was a precursor to the great experiences we had after arrival.

This family run business is top notch. Professional and safety minded, meticulous in their care of all customers, cheerful, friendly and very knowledgable about the local ecosystem. The Steep Point is a clean and modern vessel. There is an endless supply of good food. We saw orcas each of the 4 days, as well as other interesting animals and birds. Their passion for what they do shines through in everything they do. It is heartening to see their data collection for research and their collaboration with many scientists. It's easy to see how they have developed special bonds with many pods of orcas, as well as with many customers.

This is an experience well worth your time and money. Do it!

Thank you so much DJ and Faith, it was one of our highlights of Season 2022 to meet you both and see your lifelong dedication and love of all things Orca. Flying across the world to meet the Orca of Bremer Bay is something very special and the Orca seemed to know as they made sure to spend much time with us over the four days including brand new Orca calf Warnie. Hope to see you both back onboard in the near future and we look forward to meeting the Orca in your neighbourhood hopefully soon, take care😊

A great day out. We saw 5 pods and dolphins. The staff are very informative and very friendly and helpful. The boat is extremely comfortable and all amenities clean. They proved biscuits and tea and coffee but also sell nibbles and drinks. Can’t wait to go out again going to do the Orca trip with them next year. Thanks to all the crew❤️

Despite the weather we had a fantastic time, the crew were one of the best i have encountered, knowledgeable and very attentive, had a show from a couple of whales and the dolphins that came to play. The whole experience was more than expected. We are planning our next day adventure already. Solid 5 star experience.

My husband and I went on the Whale Watch trip to see the Orca’s on 21st January 2021 , and we were not disappointed.
We had an awesome day out with this family run business.
From the moment we arrived at the jetty , we were given a very warm and friendly welcome .
The MV Steep Point is a great boat . Loads of room and very comfortable, and such a good idea having bean bags at the back, which apart from being comfy , are also brilliant for someone like me , who gets a bit of a tender tummy on boats !
Then there were the Orca’s ! Absolutely fantastic , interactive , sometimes even swimming straight under the boat. Just magnificent creatures.
And with the running commentary , we learnt so much about the Orca’s , from their names, why they were so called , and which pods they were from etc.
We would highly recommend this company. Very professional in all aspects, especially with the Orca’s , unlike the other operator who was out there at the same time as us !
