About
Baron von Le’gPulling cordially invites you to his wonder of wonderful wonderness, the Castlemaine Vintage Bazaar — 1850 square metres that plays host to multitudinous stallholders offering a diverse and eclectic edit of vintage magnificence. Plus there’s a smitter-smattering of central Victorian cleverness and handmade newness. And stuff. There’s lozza, lozza stuff. So come and have a browse. You just may find that exact thing you weren’t looking for. The Bazaar is part of The Mill, Castlemaine’s happy place. Opposite the splendiddlio Botanical Gardens the site of the old Castlemaine Woollen Mill has been rejuvenated (aka tarted up) and is now a creative hub for foodies, artisans and purveyors of collectables and curiosities. There’s a roastery, cafe, brewer, baker, wine maker, ice cream magician, furniture and metal artisans and general office spaces for businesses. It’s humming alright.

Very interesting place with lots to look at. Very wide variety of pieces, some good but lots of junk to go through to find it. Staff very helpful.

The Mill complex is such a refreshing 1-2 hours of interesting "stuff". Its has a wide variety of items for sale...books, picked up the Man Booker prize winner, old tools ...wood splitter, industrial odds and ends, clothes....A clever model where the stalls are open and you pay at the counter on the way out. Entertaining and good value.

OMG what a place... it advertises itself as the place to 'Find what you are not looking for' and that could not be more accurate. I stepped inside and it was like being inside an opportunity store except without the moth ball smell... and of course, it was infinitely better laid out.

If you think of something from your childhood that you were fond of and haven't seen for ages... chances are you will find it here! It's just an amazing place to walk around. My Uncle and I went to the Mill after a recommendation from a co-worker. And this was part of our experience... I am really glad that we headed here. It was fascinating.

Things you might find here are vintage jeans, vinyls, retro furniture, books , old toys... the list goes on. So my advice is even if you are not in the market for something, it's still worth stepping in and looking around!

We were pleasantly surprised with our trip around the Bazaar. It certainly was a step back in time with being able to see & purchase items that we grew up with up, which are no longer available. My only criticism is that some of it is real junk and likely to never sell. It would be also good to see a balance of some stores with new crafty products.

This place is somewhat mind blowing. A winding treasure trove of vintage clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac and the likes. Really is no end to what you might find. Directly across from the Botanical Gardens and an adjunct of the Mill artisan food and goods precinct. Easy to spend a couple of wonderous hours in there and a must see if visiting Castlemaine.
