Lovely wide beach with acres of space for sitting and swimming. Water is cold cold cold but after this weeks' 30o heat it was welcome! Cafe serving a wide variety of food is well staffed and you can hire parasols, deck chairs and wind breaks...More

Only took 20 mins to travel from Saint Peters Port, Guernsey. Herm Island is a beautiful and serene place. We had a bite to eat at The Mermaid pub, before taking a leisurely stroll along the flat path to Shell Beach. What a hidden gem....More

This Beach on Herm is so peaceful and relaxing as well as being beautiful. There is a kiosk you can get a drink and basic snacks. The 2 young ladies manning the Kiosk when we went were very helpful.

You could be anywhere in the world here on this beautiful beach. White sand made up of tiny shells. Idillic place far away from the hustle and bustle of life. A real escape place quiet and reflective. Plenty of footpaths around the area to walk...More

It's true what the people of Guensey say (and by that I mean my best friend's in-laws) Herm really does have its own tropical micro-climate! It was hot, propely hot, in March. The sun best down on this beautiful beach all day and we wished...More

Hi. We went to Herm and saw a couple of dogs being walked. They were on leads though so you might have to keep them on lead. If you go online and google Herm theres a website for the Island, click the contact us tab at... More

Can someone who knows this location check the map and update it if necessary? The map now places this beach near Llanbedr, Gwynedd, UK (Wales) rather than on the channel island where I believe this is actually located. Thanks in advance!
