This time as a venue for sketching and painting - many different vistas and areas of quiet away from the cruise ship contingent! Amazing colours and the golden pheasants made a welcome visit along with the red squirrels. Just lovely.

I am not sure about any of this as we stayed in St Marys. when you land in St Marys there are plenty of boards up detailing boat trips etc.

We were there in August and learned that we are probably no gardening people. We spent about the same amount of time in the garden as we did at the Valhalla museum.

Hi Oldpigsqueal, The red squirrels tend to stay around the garden but you do sometimes see them near the garden entrance and around the Garden Cafe... Even if you're not a plant fan, the Garden is still well worth a visit... More
