A place to get your Credencial stamped for the Camino and an interesting little church. It would have been nice to have a little English explanations but the visuals were great.

Don't miss the opportunity to go to Pontevedra, a gorgeous town in Galicia. This church is beautiful, right in the center of the old part of Pontevedra. There is also a beautiful festival in August to comemorate the Virgin of Peregrina. This town is famous also...More

This is a little single room 17th century church dedicated to the patron saint of pilgrims. The style is gothic, with two large ornate towers but a very simple interior. There is an impressive dome with a balcony around it. There is a large drinking...More

A beautiful, imposing church on the Camino route. It dominates the area around it. I found it very beautiful and inspiring.

A visually appealing place to visit, with a huge domed ceiling from which is suspended an enormous chandelier. Lots of things to catch your eye and some lovely stained glass windows too. It’s also a place for pilgrims on their Camino to collect their stamp.

First time I've described a church that way, but the structure is elegant, delicate, and yes, "feminine". It dominates a large plaza on the Camino.

We paid the €1 to go to the top. It's a must do. I wasn't too fussed on going up but I'm glad I did. What a different perspective you get on this enormous Cathedral.
