Beautiful visit

Went to visit the Abbaye, however we ended up walking the grounds on the paths. Beautiful views and easy walks adapted for anyone. Highly recommended on nice day!

Was a few years ago not 2016 but will not have changed much. Walked out from the cafe area in Paimpol then left to the beach and ambled along the coast to the Abbaye taking about an hour to get there. A bottle or two of water helps and maybe a snack. Walked around the Abbaye then returned to Paimpol... More

As we visited the abbey a few years ago for a tour; this time we just wandered around the outskirts. It is a lovely abbey and with lovely walks down to the beach and marshfields. As we were staying with our brother at his gite Maison de Beauport and this is practically opposite the abbey; this is a great walk... More

Not been to the abbey for about four years. There is a brochure in English and information sheets in English at the various points of interest. You could spend between one and two hours at this attraction. Interesting gardens and orchards. Dog friendly. They sometimes have concerts in the grounds. ( Check with the Tourist Office in Paimpol).

A really nice afternoon with the family. Other historic destinations could learn from this Abbaye. The place had a lovely feel about it, added by the brilliant whether it was all very beautiful. Information was excellent, with English guidebook type detail available around the abbey for you to pick up and read. Well presented, and not too heavy so easy... More

We decided to go on the guided tour which lasts about 1 hour which was excellently priced at 6 euros each. The tour was very comprehensive and educational with a history which is out of the ordinary.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. There was plenty to see and read about on pull out wooden tablets. The grounds were lovely to walk around. Parking is free and on site. Toilet facilities and picnic areas and a shop selling books, soap etc.

Partly ruined but generally intact. Lovely spot and great walk beside the coast. Imagine these monks were pretty pleased with this posting and had little to complain about

A beautifull place to walk around and reading historical marks from the 10th century... while the citizen civilisation was emerging
