Thank you to geoavdentures for the absolutely remarkable tour! It is definitely a must see on the Chilean Andes! Nevado tres cruces and laguna verde was a perfect day out and absolutely mesmerising! If you're nearby, DO IT!

We drove from Copiapo which was about a 5 hour trip each way An old dirt road was now replaced part way by a paved highway. You have to pass through immigration control so don't forget identification. The scenery is magnificent. Prepare yourself for altitude...More

This place is one of the most stunning places I have sever seen. Stark, wild and freezing! Very high altitude as well (about 4500m) so be prepared! Definitely worth the effort to get there. Simply amazing.
