The place is full of symbolism, but there is not much to be seen apart from the obelisk and Cuiabá's municipal legislative headquarters. Besides that, there seems to be an eternal dispute over the actual geodesic center of South America.

Very interesting. Besides the very tall monument marking the center of South America, there are circle plaques around the monument indicating direction and distance of well known cities in Brazil. It's worth a visit.
