Feel in paradise

A shell format beach nearly deserted shell format. The beach is surrounded by a jungle of coconut palms. On a short boat trip you can enjoy the natural pools. it's beautiful

if you like the night in town, this is the place. All restaurants are over priced and too loud, live music everywhere competing with the next doors... annoying.

We went there by horses and that was fantastic! At the beach you have to surrender to its beauty. Such a shame that the water close to the beach was littered with garbage (plastics mainly). You can take a boat out to a small floating restaurant where you can snorkel and have a drink. Chockingly, some people cleaned their plates... More

Best moqueuca de pxiexe ever at restaurant papocia... Also great natural pools to snorkel. Not too many people around the place especially we went during low season. The water was very warm but was not very clean on the edges. A lot of leaves and sea weed. Once you are a bit inside water then great place to swim. Also... More

The best beach at Morro de Sāo Paulo by far. You may snorkel and see some marine life. The bad point: prices for drinks and food. They will charge you whatever they want. You will pay as if you were at Paulista Av. In Sāo Paulo. Anyway, a must.

We take around 40 minutes by off road from Morro de São Paulo to Garapua beach. It is a wonderful place, quiet, the Sea is good for swimming. Garapua is a small place totally ecological. There is Pousada Garapua is simple but very good. There are houses to be rent for a period of time. You can choose fresh fishes... More

We took a car to Guarapua, and the drive itself was ggod fun. I think you should be able to fint better beaches on the island, but still a good experience to see the village and the fishingboats. Fantastic seafood right on the beach!

Great beach, the water gets really warm in the afternoon. However there are some small jellyfish in the water that can burn you pretty bad if you stay on the water too long in the late afternoon when the sea is rising and the water is at its warmest. Ask the locals and they will be able to tell which... More
