One of the most beautiful thing you will ever see. This experience was even better than our Alaska experience. We took a private car to the glacier and that drove us all the way to the top where you can take stairs/ ramp to walk to different levels to see glacier. Each level would take you closer to the glacier.... More

Perito Moreno is perhaps the most stunning glacier among many others found in Southern Patagonia. While not the largest, it is easily reachable and also the most popular. I did the big ice tour which involves walking for about 3 hours on the glacier. Even if you do not do the glacier walk, the views from the balconies are amazing.... More

The experience cannot be really described, it's stunning. So beautiful and impressive, this glacier is really a natural treasure. The sounds it produces are loud and surround the visitor in an atmosphere of inexplicable and unexpected peace.

One of the most impressive things I have ever seen! The glaciar is spectacular and its melting even more spectacular. It gives you the right impression about global warming problem. The place is well preserved, the access corridors have very little impact on the place so it does not feel like a commercial spot but a place where nature is... More

It's a massive glacier and a must see for anyone coming to Patagonia. Pictures and words won't give justice to it. It must be visited to be appreciated. We did mini ice trekking, we could hear ice breaking and falling in the lake. We were offered wiskey at the end of the trek. It is one of the most enjoyable... More

This glacier took some effort to get to: 1. fly in to El Calafate (a town that has nothing going for it except it's proximity to this glacier: warning- staying for one night only is recommended, as there is nothing else to see) 2. Take a one and a half hour bus ride to the glacier (which ended up being... More

We did the mini trekking tour on the glacier. Our guide Javier was extremely good and made the trek very entertaining. The crampons were very interesting walking in. The guidance was very well done while on the glacier. This is a must do tour. We were in Patagonia two years ago hiking and came back to do the glacier tour.... More

Instead of the regular visit to the balconies of Perito Moreno. We made the alternative tour that includes a different road where you can see different animals and visit one "estancia"

There is no way to describe this natural wonder. I could have spent hours there watching the beauty of the glacier change with the changing light. The glacier is over 200 feet high and I was fortunate to see a large calving. WOW!

Wonderful up close views of glacier from easy walkways. Would recommend it. Only disappointment was that trekking on glacier is not for the senior citizens. Long trek has a cut of age 50 mini trek 65. No exceptions.
