Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We brought a group of 10 guests to visit the Aruhiba tobacco farm and Benjamin Petrocchi scheduled our tour over What'sApp. We saw the tobacco growing and then watched his employees stuffing, rolling and shaping the cigars. It was certainly an educational site worth seeing. While most of us were not smokers, everyone walked out with a fresh cigar! Enjoy the experience while visiting Aruba!!

Absolutely wonderful only homegrown handrolled Aruban cigar making shop on entire island. Met Ben, the owner, early on a weekday morning at the shop and we spoke for over 45 minutes all things cigars. Very personable and kind gentleman - and owner of a nice family small business.

Barking dogs upon driving up to entrance of his shop (next to a residence) completely safe. We spoke of the history of his shop, his cigar making tools and all of the available hand rolled cigars he sold. Shop also has a nice small bar and he showed me his plot of land out back where he grows his tobacco (field was tilled dirt as of early July 2023 awaiting next planting season).

Prices are very reasonable and I bought a box of 25 cigars. He kindly offered me one to smoke with him upon entering but I had to politely refuse - not an early morning stoogie smoker here.

This was simply a wonderful experience and I HIGHLY recommend Ben's shop to anyone who wishes to learn about the hand rolling process of making cigars and then picking some up for your personal enjoyment! He has a great selection of sizes in mild, medium and robust - as well as small gift boxes and full 25 cigar boxes.

Ben is the operator of Aruba's only legit tabac (cigar) farm. The place is very interesting. The barking dogs who come out to greet you are not a threat. Ben, will show you a video of how his production is operated and is very personable and welcoming to allow you to ask questions.

The prices are good. Also, he has a full supply of various liquors and one of few businesses who stock authentic Curacao liquer.

The place is pretty easy to get to, just use Google maps, if in doubt.

I am not a smoker , but seeing how they are made is very interesting. I am glad we stopped here.

We were here in January so the greenhouse was just budding so we didn't get to see the plants but the story about how they get a non-desert plant to grow was cool. The woman making the cigars in front of us apparently made cigars in Cuba, so this have been her life's passion.

Even if you are not a fan of cigars, this is an educational spot to visit. If you like cigars, then stop reading this and go there.

If you enjoy a fine cigar this place should be on your lists of places to visit while in Aruba. Family owned business, growing tobacco on the island, hand rolling everything on site, and producing a very nice product. Was able to enjoy a few while on the island and was pleased with the flavor, pull and overall quality of the cigar.

Nice little store. We just missed the owner, so we didn’t get the full experience that others have described. Very solid looking cigars. They are all short filler. They had neat packaging that was local to Aruba, great for souvenirs or to share with other cigar-loving friends. Prices were good. Place was a little bit out-of-the-way; you need a car or a taxi to get there. Great local flavor.

The shop is quaint, bar beautiful, able to watch the process of cigars being rolled. Several cigars to choose from varying from mild to strong. The proprietor is a pleasure to speak with.

The Aruhiba Aruban cigars are surprisingly good. The shop also sells a limited selection of Cuban cigars, so you can get some of each. When in Aruba, you really should try an authentic Aruban cigar, you will not be disappointed!
