We were picked up on time (the only excursion to do so). The ranch is located in a housing division (they were there first) so the trail initially runs behind the houses. The horses were healthy. Our guide was friendly but he was Cuban and barely spoke English. My Spanish wasn't sufficient for conversation. The 2 hour trek is on... More

My wife and I went horseback riding on January 2nd. The tour guide we had was nice but did not speak much English. Horses struggled on parts of the mountains that were filled with rocks Pros: -Scene of the rough water beach is amazing Cons: -Trail from their ranch to the open is very narrow and we both got poked... My wife and I had a great trip seeing the North side of Aruba and around the California Lighthouse. Gert gave us a great tour and was very knowledgeable about many aspects of the island history. The bikes were in great working condition and would definitely come back and do another ride with Gert.

Rancho Notorious was excellent!! They only do small groups so you really have a great ride. My husband and I happened to be the only 2 in our group, so we essentially got a private tour! If you love a real ride with galloping, you will love this! Beautiful views and great service! Highly recommend.

I took my two kids with me, ages 18 & 23. We really enjoyed getting to see a whole other side of Aruba. It was HOT as we had to start an hour later due to the late arrival into the port. Two of the three of us weren't avid bike riders, but our guide was awesome and the scenery... More

12 mile loop from the ranch. Rode to Alto Vista chapel, California lighthouse, Arashi beach and the coastal dunes/desert. Guide Geert was friendly and very knowledgeable about Aruban history. Easy ride - more difficult rides available, check their website.

We decided we liked the first ride so much that we'd try a different ranch. This one was as good as the one earlier in the week but different. They take small groups only. For this ride it was just me, my husband and our guide, Wilmur. This allowed us to ride differently. When the guide saw that we could... More

Awesome ride! We have ridden in several countries and this was one of few places that allowed us to trot and gallop. Kids had a blast. Beautiful way to see much of the original Aruba landscape. Even in October this was a hot trip. Nestor was a great guide.

I picked the 1 1/2 hour horseback tour for us as I had never ridden a horse before. We were picked up (and dropped off) at our hotel, which was very nice. It turned out we were the only ones scheduled that morning, so it was like having a private tour. Nestor was our guide and we absolutely loved him!... More
