Lovely road to ride along as the views are magnificent. With the Dead Sea on one side and the desert and Masada on the other. Watch out for the sinkholes and floods in the rainy season.

Driving to Masada from Tel Aviv, went through Jerusalem, then the West Bank then along the Dead Sea. Incredibly beautiful drive. Crazy there is no one on it! Really enjoyed the views.

Went down that route in February. We had an easy drive, very well maintained road. Gas stations with very good food on the way. Also a few look out points to see the panorama as one drives as low as 420m under the sea level.

Really nice view along dead sea, and very good road condition. We enjoyed the driving on this route. Ein Bokek is a small town which have many vacation hotels, resorts and public beach facility. Good to stay one night there to enjoy the Dead Sea.

This route is the best way to Ein Bokek from Jerusalem, but many parts need improvement from many hairpin curves to still water damaged stretches. The whole road from North to South should be made into a 4 lane safe stretch.

The route was a perfect option ending in Jerusalem. Roads were being repaired in a few spots but generally very good. A number of gravel view points that were not well maintained but worth stopping at. It’s easier if you’re heading north to do this....More

A feast for the eyes - mountainous rim of the depression kept reminding me of scenes from Lawrence of Arabia. The miles went by quickly.
