We took a three day tour. Watkins Glen is a sweet little town sprinkled with B&B's. We decided to wineries one day and breweries the next. Watkins Glen raceway was also a blast. You can watch car organizations race for free and take own car around the track of $25. What fun!!

This weekend was my first time on a wine trail & I loved it here around Seneca Lake. We started off at Torrey Ridge Winery & they were great. Besides being a bit chilly I enjoyed all the different wineries & new food samples of cheese from area. We drove in & out of each one but we saw many... More

There are dozens and dozens of vineyards to choose from! Makes for a great time, with friends, on your own, for a special occasion. Love this wine trail. Many others are closer to me, but this where we always go!

Of the wine trails, we felt this was the best in the Finger Lakes. Both sides of the lake have numerous places to stop and enjoy. Each winery offers its own take on the wines of the region and we found each employee knew the product well and could explain what one was tasting. Both reds and whites are well... More

This is a family run business. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. My wife cannot tolerate the tannin and sulfite. The wines from Silver Spring are the only wines that she is able to drink without health issues.

Love the New York Finger Lakes regions and wineries. But every time we go they are busier and more crowded. Guess you can't have it both ways!

We're glad you enjoyed yourself on your recent visit, and hope that next time you might be able to visit in deep winter: the Trail is much quieter that time of year. But regardless, hope you come back to visit again soon! More

The wine trail runs both sides of our beautiful and very long lake. The idea is to visit the many wineries, breweries and distilleries along the way. Many offer free tastings and tours while others provide tastings for a small fee. As you can imagine it is very easy to become inebriated and a driving danger, thus my suggestion you... More

We agree that when sampling at many wineries, it is ideal to have a designated driver, whether a friend/family member that doesn't mind not sampling wine, or a paid service, many of which are listed on our website. As a local who travels all regional roads often, I don't think they are particularly dangerous however, as an overwhelming majority of... More

Great views, generally friendly winery staff & good wine makes for a fun day at the lake. Each winery has a unique spin of some sort that is worth checking out. Tastings are very low cost and you can choose the types of wine you like to try. All offer wine & sometimes gifts to purchase as well. Some offer... More
