I was here a decade ago in the summer time and it was amazing, so I thought I would swing by on my winter road trip. Unbeknownst to me, the majority of the park is closed off for the duration of the winter, BUT from the south entrance there are a few trails that are open year round and you... More

We camped here and it was great! Beautiful place to visit! The camp site was nice and our six year old loved the playgrounds. The pool looked nice, but we never had time to go in it.

This park is very beautiful and worth the trip. Saying that, you have to go EARLY in the morning before the bus loads of tourists arrive. We were amazed at the sheer number of people pouring into the park as we left. Be prepared for lots of climbing up and down steps and some of them are very slippery.

Didn't know much about this place until we did a bit of research on it. Even then we were not prepared for what we saw when we got here. The views here are fantastic. The hikes were not overly difficult and there are so many great spots to just admire. If you are a photographer, it is a definite must... More

Spectacular ! Do not miss this during your trip Bring water, camera, hat or a hooded jacket or hat bc water drips on you at some areas. We got to The one mile bridge and went back following South Entrance trail. This trail back was nice-a woods area. I didn't want to risk slipping on the steps on the way... More

A must see if your in the area! Safe for the whole family. Offers multiple photo shots and there's even camping and a pool on the grounds.

Fit or not, makes the most sense to take the shuttle to the top and walk down as the path is the same for both directions and very easy to take in the downward and upward views at any point. If you are taking lots of photos, will take you 1 1/2 hrs. to walk down. If you have the... More

I thought the only place to visit in New York was Manhatten. Up in the wine country of New York, a bit of water has carved out a beautiful canyon that feels like Arizona. You can walk through on a path that was made by the park service winding back and forth with small bridges, we must have gone about... More
