Our last day of Zanzibar paradise holiday. We wanted to try something original, local food from the market stalls. People were so friendly there. That is what made us to put the guard down, I suppose. We've been to restaurants and had a ruff idea...More

I visited the waterfront during the day and the great expanse of blue water peppered by all sizes of boats and whips with a cool breeze in the sunlight was just right for that moment. It is quiet during the day with a few people...More

It is something you should do if you are in stonetown, just for the experience. However, don't go with high expectations of amazing street food. We wanted to try the Zanzibar pizza, which in my opinion is comparable to an omelette. We also tried some...More

One of the touristy attractions to experience when in Stone Town. Large variety of food stalls. Many offering the same food choices though. Look for the ones with the longer lines. They are the most popular and probably the most hygienic too. As with most...More

Stone Town without Forodhani Park is no Zanzibar for that matter. Part of the local scene, a must see.

We were just in time to miss the rush and still have some food at about 7:30/8p.m. My favourite was the Urojo and the Zanzibar pancakes. Definitely a must do for an authentic taste of Zanzibar Island.

Food was cold, some dishonest guys around, honestly over rated, however we finally found a stall with some decent people, their food wasn't amazing but they were good guys

Zanzibar cuisine and sea food barbeque on offer. The place is more active at night . I enjoyed well grilled calamari and octopus. A good place but touts and rowdy service providers here can be of concern.

Sorry should've been more specific. It was a Cholera outbreak that happened in April/May of 2016. One of the locals told us it happens often during the rainy reason because there is poor drainage/sanitation and there is very... More
