Medium level difficulty walk up to the shrine. About 2 hours up & 1.5 down. Great views, good time to start is 8am before the day trippers get there.

When your guide has passion and an extensive knowledge of his country combined with obvious love and respect for people, it’s a recipe for a successful adventure, no matter how old you are or how fast you walk. And Lahcen Idmansour is just that guide....More

It was nice but quite hard way to the summit. Views from the 4167 m. were amazing! We've met a lot of fantastic and friendly people, had a wonderful time and Toubkal was the greatest adventure in our live :)

It's a fearly easy hike up to the summit, but i't still 4267m high mountain, so I do advise staying at a refuge the night before the ascent.

Technically easy, snow starting at around 3500 m. Would have been easier with crampons but was doable also without. Up and down from the valley was doable in one day (start at 1900 m).

Worth the early start to catch sunrise. Hard work for a novice but greatly helped by guide. Good refuges in mountains and great scenery even if you don't make the top.

Hi Mourad We used Atlas Mountain Guides and they cost €150 pp. we did hire crampons and ice axes at an extra cost whilst we were there. I think we paid around €25 each for these. Faye

There is nowhere to stay above 3200m on the mountain so you go there and back in a day. Total 7-10 hours. But the trip in takes a day and so the trip out takes a day too. As for maps the guides know the routes. You can print... More
