Dive Spirit is a scuba diving centre in north Mauritius. We specialize in small groups and providing a tailor made service for the dive of your choice. We are equipped to offer introductory dives, provide PADI training for beginners and the more experienced, accommodate adventurous divers, underwater photographers and videographer.

Can’t and won’t stay my last time there!

Our Host recommended us Ken as our instructor for our open water diving license. And I am so incredibly thankful for that.

I was a bit worried, we wouldn’t have the time, but Ken took great care to match the dives perfectly to our schedule.

The staff overall was very friendly and welcoming!

We had 5 dives (one pool session) and not once I felt like beeping rushed or in danger. On the contrary! Ken has an amazing way to teach, calm, repeating everything important more than 10x and a lot of practical training. We prepared our equipment ourself, so that we would understand how it works and what we should pay attention to in other diving Centers. Also to mention is that the equipment we got was always in good condition.

We loved the dives with Ken so much, we actually booked another two dives after we were finished. We sure are gonna miss diving with him and already planned on coming back one day to do it again.

Best diving experience!

This was the best experience in Mauritius! Since we were staying for 5 weeks due to an internship, our host recommended that we do our open water certification here. Our diving instructor was Ken, a really outstanding person and instructor. He made us feel totally safe underwater and always respected our fears and helped us work on our beginner‘s problems. Besides of being a great teacher and explaining everything multiple times, he took a lot of photos of us on every dive and gave them to us at the end of our stay, so we have a lot of good memories to carry with us. Even though we were still in the process of doing our license, every dive was different and special, they took us to a lot of different diving sites so we saw a lot of amazing things. Since we were in Mauritius for work, we had some time management issues but Ken made it work for us anyways. A really good diving center with nice staff overall and good equipment. Thank you for the best experience and taking away our fears with your calmness. We will be back to dive here hopefully soon!

Fantastic Diving Experience

Brilliant experience Stefan was a great instructor easy chilled relaxed person that’s what you need before diving especially if your a first timer like us! Amazing scenery with the fishes, even saw a turtle!

Would recommend going with this company!

Friendly and professional divemasters made a great experience. Did 2 dives where we saw turtles, eels, octopus, etc.
One of the most affordable dives in the island.
Definitely would dive again with them

Super organized dive centre

What a really great dive centre. They responded to my emails immediately, there are no hidden costs and the equipment is of a good standard. The people working there (Stephane, Sarah, Daphne, Bruno, Atish and all the others) are friendly and really welcoming. They prepare the tank and bcd for you, carry them to the boat and also help you to put it on. The dive sites are only a few min away with the boat (wrecks, reefs). I definitely will come back. Keep up the spirit.

Breathtaking experience - Dive with your spirit !!

I chose Dive Spirit thanks to Charlene and here detailed responses to my queries over email. I did mail quite a few dive centres in the area but they either didn't respond or ask me to get in touch over whatsapp. The centre offers various dive courses which you can check out on their website. For further details do get in touch and they'll answer all your queries. The staff is simply marvellous... Charlene, Thierry, Bruno, Pascal, Daphne, Rudolf and any staff member I've missed out ensure you are welcomed & feel pleasant. They offer comprehensive information about their courses, prices and detailed training. I undertook the Open Water Diver course and after basic training in the pool Charlene just let the ocean teach me its ways. She was extremely meticulous, calm and positive all through training. All other divers & instructors are very encouraging and its important to remain calm and listen. It's not easy to take in all the information but keep in mind the key rules. The equipment is robust and the dive centre offers free pick up and drop if you're staying close by. My experience was extraordinary and I certainly will be coming back for more.

Best holiday dive experience I’ve had

Just got back from an awesome holiday in Mauritius, made all the better by the diving with the Dive Spirit team. They took my son for his OW and then we got to dive together on some amazing sites. In total I did 13 dives (day and night) and my son did 9 and we didn’t dive the same spot twice. Would highly recommend Dive Spirit for your diving or training needs, great instructors, great staff. All sites are within a very short boat ride and surface interval is back at the dive shop for a cuppa

Great dive centre

We were lucky that Dive Spirit were in the grounds of our hotel, La Tonnelle, so a natural choice. I've been diving for many years and this was the friendliest crowd, with good equipment, all dive instructors and amenable to our wreck dive requests. I would recommend the KT Mawar for its ghost ship theatricality.
Many locals use the centre which is the best recommendation for us. To Thierry, Charlene, Sarah and the crew, Five Bubble rating!

Great friendly dine centre

Really nice friendly dive school with plenty of dive instructors and divemasters. I dived with Dive Spirit for 4 days in January 2023 and had a great time. They prepare your tank, BCD and regs and these are waiting for you on the boat. All the dive sites are a short boat ride (10-15 minutes) from the dive centre and I was never in a group of more than 4 or 5 people. Special mention to Thierry who organised my diving as well as pick up and drop off from my hotel (Casuarina, 5 minute drive away, where he also has a small dive centre linked to Dive Spirit), and to Bruno (Brian Mbuemo ;-) !) and Charlene, the 2 instructors I dived with most often, and who made each dive interesting and fun. Highly recommended.
