We were passing by and thought it would be fun to pick up some cheese. When we came in, we were promptly greeted by the owner who asked us if we wanted to sample the cheese - then quickly added "for $3 each". We agreed and it was fun, but would agree that the samples are very tiny. So if... More

We happened upon Muranda Cheese Company by chance, and wow, I am so glad we did!! The cheese is amazingly good! For 3 bucks you get to sample them all, and it is a good size sample, not a little tease. You can even walk over to the barn to see the cows that give the milk for the cheese.... More

The cheese there is amazing. We need to see more of this all over NY state. The blue cheese is great!

We went in the winter so there was no one else there. We had personal service that was great. They do sell this product at a lot of different venues so if it's busy there you can buy it in other stores. Worth the wait.

I think we tasted about 15 cheeses here, and all were wonderful! The tasting charge was $3, and was well worth it. Everyone in my group purchased one or more blocks of cheese. It is vacuum wrapped, so was each to transport and will keep well. Highly recommend!

Tom is the man to talk to about cows, milk and cheese. He knows all there is to know and he shares his knowledge freely. Do the tasting for sure and arrive hungry!

Went to Muranda Cheese Company today (Friday) and it was so packed, we could hardly get thru the door. Heard such good reviews about the product, we opted to buy the cheese and skip the tasting. Oddest thing, the young woman that was serving the cheese, preparing the portions and checking us out while she managed nearly 20 people hovered... More

The tasting was nice but the cheese was cheaper at Saunders. Saunders had more variety. The cheeses were fantastic. It was busy being Veterans day

We went and had a free chesse tasting where you tasted 12 different cheeses as they explained them. The staff was very friendly and we bought a couple of their cheeses. It is certainly a place to visit.

The owners of the farm and store are giving the tastings in a work in progress barn on their property. You can tell they know and love their cheese. There are a dozen varieties and it would be easy to overbuy once you taste the freshness of raw milk cheese made right on the dairy from their Holsteins. My favorite... More
