We decided to go one evening for a look. The place has some of the most amazing tombs you will see. It must be about 3-4 mile square. You are better going around in a car or truck to get to the best tombs. It...More

Attended a ghost tour put on by the Onondaga Historical Society. Very well done. 5 or 6 stops along the way where cemetary residents spoke of their lives as it relates to our central New York history. Great presentations. Actors were in costume and defiantly...More

More beautiful than many parks. Lots of history. Walking tours are offered in the summer. Interesting mausoleums and headstones.

Not a bad cemetery. There were a few "finds" such as a mausoleum with beautiful stained glass windows or the bronze stag. But watch where you step. Even though it hadn't rained in the past 48 hours, there were lots of wet spots in the...More

This is a cemetery with a lot of history that has been well documented. It is large and shady so if you like this kind of thing take one of the guided tours, the halloween tours are great.

I've been visiting here for years, My family plot is there. I love the architecture of the older monuments and buildings. But sadly, there has been a lot of vandalism in recent decades. I'd like to see a program where juveniles have to do their...More

This is a nicely maintained cemetery near SU's campus. The green space, including mature trees makes for a nice walk, but avoid going there after dark or alone.
