Beautiful country but the trail needs serious attention. Grass is overgrown is places and the trail becomes very bumpy.

This is a well-marked and well-planned trail that offers many different sights and beautiful vistas of the area. You can walk, run, or bike for many miles (not sure how many).

Stamford,NY is the center-point of the trail & also its highest elevation with an easy, gentle grade. Surface of crushed gravel & dirt is bone dry today; locals know it to be near impassable in wet times. Very underused which is a shame as the...More

You really need days not hours to fully enjoy this trail - connecting Bloomville to Stamford to Grand Gorge to Roxbury! Wonderful scenery and gentle inclines and declines that will allow you to include the whole family! You can top by many stores, cafe bars...More
