We have camped here for over 50 years and this was the first year the beach was closed. NO SWIMMING, lifeguard. You are camping at a LAKE, but you can't swim in it. I understand that the state may have money issues, but you can't...More

Two brand new shower facilities, beautiful water sites, and a full grocery store nearby making camping with little ones a lot less scary. WE LOVE MOFFITT BEACH.

Does the campground offer canoe or rowboat rentals?

No, but there is a camp that rents kayaks, paddle boat, (not sure of canoes) just before reaching the Moffitt Beach State Park from Rt 8 on Page. It's a new business-not sure of cost.
