It is a pretty cool looking memorial. But it isn't really near where the plane went down, and it should never have been built there. It is on Fire Island, which is a barrier beach, then over time is slowly moving northward. In less than...More

I thought this was beautifully and tastefully done memorial. I would recommend everyone who visits Smith Point Beach to see this.

keep driving on William Floyd parkway and you will go into SmithPoint beach and that is where you will see the Memorial with all the Flags flying.
