Respectful memorial to those who perished in the TWA flight 800 plane crash several years ago. It is located right next to the Beach Hut at Smith Point Beach.

This is a wonderful memorial to the passengers and crew that were on that flight. To walk around it is enlightening magnitude of this disaster .

I can't not go to the beach without visiting the Flight 800 memorial. It is a symbolic and inviting design that merges with the natural environment in a visually inspiring way. There is plenty of seating areas to spend time listening to the ocean waves...More

Beautiful memorial. It's comforting and calming. The names of the victims that perished on that flight so many years ago are carved into a gorgeous wall.

keep driving on William Floyd parkway and you will go into SmithPoint beach and that is where you will see the Memorial with all the Flags flying.
