Shelter Island is a mystery place to explore and enjoy. The history is part of it all. You will enjoy the details and treasures to see and buy ;) I shall visit again and again for sure.

If on the island, worth a trip to see Havens House at least once and when there is a temporary exhibition or the Saturday morning farmers market is there, the latter only "in season." A few things of possible interest in the store.

We were able to walk right in during the outside Sat. Farmer's Market (which I highly recommend). They also have a sweet gift shop.

All fresh and looking good. People are very pleasant and the Havens House is AWSOME! The store is very inviting with local merchandize. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
