Staff is friendly and open. Great interactive areas for kids. Can go through the museum quickly or linger over the displays- well laid out for a casual or more in depth visit.

This is a great museum with a comprehensive history of thoroughbred racing. It flows in a circle around a courtyard and makes for a lovely couple of hours.

This lovely museum includes the Horse Racing Hall of Fame, plus large rooms where you can view pictures and information on each Triple Crown winner, history of racing in Saratoga Springs, an actual starting gate, and a wide variety of racing cups, many of them created by Tiffany and Company. There's also a small gift shop, if you want to... More

This small - relatively speaking - jewel of a museum is breath-taking in its selection and organization. Virtually across Union Avenue from the world-renowned thoroughbred race track that is the oldest in the United States in continuous racing use. One can visit in an hour or linger and soak in a century and-a-half of thoroughbred racing. Wonderful!

If you're a horse person, you will love this place, You can find out your Thoroughbred's info if you have his tattoo number or sire/dam. So interesting, clean, nicely presented. I could spend a whole day there. Nice gift shop, too

Great Museum for Racing fans to visit. Zenyatta, named horse of the year 2010, won 19 of 20 career starts, most with Mike Smith, a jockey I like.

If you are a fan of this sport you will definitely enjoy this museum. However if you are on the other side, it might not be an exciting museum tour for you. I still think that it is worth it to visit this museum of you are in Saratoga Springs. Also, do not expect to spend long museum hours. It... More

This Museum is very well done, and interesting at all levels. Great for the lifelong racing fan or breeder, as well as newcomers to the sport. Stunning, magnificent paintings, bronzes and sporting art outstandingly displayed. Most of the art is National Gallery quality, and will be of interest to any student of art. Displays are well organized with something for... More

The museum is a lovely newish building with a beautiful glass room room looking outdoors and an attractive interior room with trophies. Not much to see though.
