The Saratoga Winery is located just under four miles from Broadway in Downtown Saratoga Springs. We offer traditional style whites and reds such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Merlot. We specialize in an all natural style of wine making called Melomel. Melomel is 12% honey and 88% fruit, made with no added sulfites or preservatives and fermented in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Our grapes are sourced from the Finger Lakes region of New York State, mainly Seneca Lake. Currently all of our Melomel wines are made on the premises. We are currently producing our traditional style whites and reds at a small facility in the Finger Lakes while we continue to grow and improve our production space at our location in Saratoga Springs. Join us during all business hours for a wine tasting and every Friday night from 6-9pm for live music and wood fired pizza. We invite you to sit back, relax and experience great wine with our friendly staff in our warm and inviting Adirondack style atmosphere. *Using a GPS is not recommended as they tend to not pick up our address properly. Please give us a call for easy and accurate directions.

This was the last official stop on our bus trip to the Lake Placid area. Perhaps because there was a festival there that day our impression is skewed. We were supposed to have received three varieties of wine to try. Some from the bus did not get all three choices even after repeated asking. Perhaps because I am not a... More

I visited the Saratoga Winery last weekend with a group of 6 women for a bachelorette party. The place itself is very beautiful - all wood interior, wood fire burning, music playing - the service was great, you can't beat $1 per sample for a wine tasting, and the variety of wines and beers offered for tasting was excellent. We... More

We stopped here recently while visiting Saratoga Springs. The concept is good but we weren't impressed. The place is nice and has outdoor seating. Interesting presentation of wine. However, the wine itself was not to our liking. We didn't care for any of them. They had live music that day which was decent. The brick oven pizza was good. The... More

This was one of the most fun wine tastings I've been on. Raphael and Meghan were awesome and most accomodating. The presentation of the wine glasses was in a wrought iron tower. We had he sweet and salty tasting. Just $20 for 5 wines and either cheese or chocolate to pair with it. We also got a full glass of... More

My wife and I stopped by on Oct. 8 during their Fall Fest weekend for our first visit here. The place was packed (over packed) and wait staff clear overwhelmed and out numbered. We finally got two seats at the inside bar and after being ignored for quite along time, we were finally waited on only to be told they... More

Stopped for the wine tasting. Some very interesting varieties indeed. Neat interior and outside even neater. Very friendly staff/manager. A small operation that certainly makes some good wine! Bought a few bottles to bring home. Will be back, thanks!

I was glad we had a coupon which gave us half price on tasting and cheese plate. The wine is ok, and we did buy a bottle. Ambiance is nice.

This wine bar is an ideal combination of lovely setting, flawless pizza, great music, excellent service and reasonable, good wine. James, the chef, makes amazing pizza in an outdoor woodturning stove. I’m not sure if it’s regularly on the menu but his clam pie put’s Lombardi’s (NYC) and Pepe’s (Yonkers/NewHaven) to shame. The music was top notch on Sunday of... More

It is a little hard to find, the GPS kept taking us to a different route 29, We found it plugging West Washignton instead. Its worth the wait! We decided to venture to this place based on the tripadvisor reviews. We walked in and were greeted by the bar tender, we didnt really know what the concept was or how... More

Stopped at the Saratoga Winery on our way into the town of Saratoga. Tasted wine with honey, a must try! They also have a beer tasting available and cheese and crackers available. Google maps location is incorrect, it's 3 miles west of location provided. Is directly on highway 29. Staff was friendly and informative.
