Walked all around this area. There was a nice view and breeze off the water which had us linger on benches in the shade.

Tour the restored Commandant 's House with a local guide for a small price. The shipyard and battlefield are self-guided. Convenient parking and a location with lovely views of Lake Ontario are a plus.

Small museum, well-kept grounds, excellent view across the harbor, very short walk from the center of town. Worth a visit.
